Thanks, John. Then if I settle for $4400.00 off a $48,300.00 Lexus (Truecar profit of $1400.00 for the dealer) am I leaving too much on the table. Some posters are suggesting that they are getting cars far lower than invoice, even accounting for the holdback. I am OK with the dealer making a profit and I am not inclined to waste my time (because I bill by the hour) going back and forth with 10 dealers. unless you are suggesting that I am leaving several thousand dollars on the table. These incentives you speak of, neither Edmunds nor other sites finds out about them?

OK. I called Lexus of Watertown on Tuesday and the salesperson I talked gave me a price of $41,500 for the car. So I gave up on them. I bought my RX350 on Wednesday in Central NJ. It's AWB with Backup Camera, Premium Package, Towing Prep Package, Heated and Ventilated Front Seats, Wood-and-Leather-trimmed-Steering-Wheel-and-Shift-Knob. I got for 39.5K. I know it's not the best deal I can get because I got a couple of offers from other dealership for a couple of hundres dollars less. But overall, I am satisfied with the deal.

Muimui, I'm driving my second Lexus, a 2010 RX350 that was made in Canada. My first Lexus was a 2007 RX350 that I drove for four years until my lease was up. That RX was also made in Canada. I had no problems with the '07, and so far everything is A-OK with the 2010. Good luck with your purchase!!
