Buying a car from a Buick Car Dealer
Thanks for the link Car Man, OK here you go. For the Buick Enclave CXL 2 w/ nav, rear entertainment and sunroof the numbers are: MSRP $49,355 Invoice: 46,605 TMV= $45,530 (don't konw exactly what that number is) I'm looking for a 36 or 39 mo lease (which ever is cheaper/better) 15k miles a year with NO money down (this way I can acurately compare between dealers. Thanks A4guy (with growing family looking to be Enclaveguy)
You might want to check with another dealer if one is available nearby. I would be surprised if anything GM makes is going for full sticker these days. There are all kinds of discounts available: credit union discount, COSTCO discount, AAA discount, changing brand discount, etc.. We bought our 2010 AWD CXL for $202 over invoice and received full kbb.com tradein value for our trade. Really not a lot of hassle either. I asked to see the real GM invoice - not the dealer's computer listing - and showed him the original old sticker from the trade so he could check the options and he came back with a first offer $1500 too low on the trade. I then showed him the printout from the kbb.com web site for the trade and told him it was that or no deal. He said OK and that was it. It was on a Sunday with not much showroom traffic and toward the end of Feb so maybe that helped but we also looked at Honda and they were very willing to talk invoice also. I think these days almost everything is negotiable except perhaps dealer holdback and shipping and I would go for it.
Hey Tornado, Major inventory problems in the NorthEast also. I did multiple checks in 3 syrrounding states to NJ and minimal available (especially LX1 models). There is OK stock on entry CX models though. Thx, Anthony
OK... trivial to some, but IMPORTANT to me. I read, re-read the Owner's Manual. I ma a techno-crat, so no problem with computers, functioning of my Enclave. Oh yeah... it's CXL White Diamond, palomino leather, ... loaded to the gills.... can't load it with anything else, 'cept maybe a coffee maker! Prieviously, I owned a Rendevous. I was able to chart my distance, but simply pushing a button... I would RE-SET it to ZERO. Then, when the Mapquest said 3.7, I was able to watch the meter till 3.7 miles. I cannot do this with the Enclave. Anyone out there experience this? It was helpful having that function. Thank You for the input.
The problem is the 09s are getting harder to find with desired options. This is going to be your big challenge. I don't know how long you're going to have to wait for the offers on the 09s to get better, but by the time they do you'll have to take what is available. Only you know if that is OK. Good luck.
