Buying a car from a Acura Car Dealer
OK I guess my definition of fully loaded is different, that's why I ask. The SH-AWD w/tech to me, is the minimal I'd be looking for and wondered if you had any dealer installed or other factory options thus 'loading' it with items not mentioned. I added several thousand in options which were dealer installed on our MDX. Now that I'm looking to replace my RX300 with the RDX, I'm trying to get some ideas. Thanks for posting.
So I'm getting an offer for a new base tsx for $25,562.23 and after TTL (and fees) $27,550. The only thing included is tint and wheel locks. That price does not include the $500 AmEx gift card offer, which essentially nets the offer to $27,050 DO. I've searched far and wide around Texas for someone to beat that price but I just can't find anyone. Do you guys think I should wait for more cash to dealer from the manufacturer? Does anyone actually think the dealer will increase the holdback money from $1250 (plus $500 GC) to more than $1750, which will make it worth the wait? Also, has anyone in NM, OK, AR or LA gotten an offer cheaper walkout than this? All of these Southern states think it's a good idea to have ridiculously high sales taxes for cars and I'm not about to drive to CO for a few hundred bucks. I really appreciate the help!!
Thanks for the additional information, geoguy99. OK, Acura's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 TL AWD Tech with 15,000 miles per year are .00144 and 59%, respectively. When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $1,500 dealer cash that is currently available on it. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
OK, I got a better deal today...and given what I've gathered, It's pretty good, I think: 2010 TL SHAWD, TECH Price Paid: $37500 (will pick up next week) MF: .00144 (I didn't bicker about the .00134 as it worked out to a $5 per mo diff...) 15K Miles Per, 3 Year Lease Cash Due at Signing: $6K (Includes Tags, Bank Fee, and Taxes) Per MO PMT: $384.00
OK, I think I found current MF and residual on your MDX w/tech, 15k/yr @ .00133 and 52% respectively. Using those numbers, that payment reflects a sale price $300 UNDER dealer invoice. That's an excellent deal in Westchester, assuming there are no hidden fees due @ signing and the MDX doesn't have mileage.
