Since you are not getting loyalty and employee discout and not live in Detroit, I would say it's an OK deal. The '09 is drastically improved from the last 10 year cookie cutter styles. If you hold out you might find one of the dealers that are going to lose there franchise that are willing to unload. I am pretty happy with my purchase. Good luck.

Hi 1cent. You aren't by any chance related to 50 are you? OK, I know that it was bad but it's early and I haven't had enough coffee yet so cut me some slack :P . Unfortunately, as a result of Chrysler's financial problems Chrysler Financial is not leasing vehicles any longer. You might be able to lease a Charger through an independent bank, but chances are you would be better off financing or paying cash for this car. You don't need to buy the car at the dealership you have it serviced at. You can have your car serviced locally even if you buy it in another state. A 2007 sxt with alloys auto and side air bags barely has a trade in value of 11000 with avg miles. This is what your 08 will be worth in a year. 14000 for a 18300 msrp caliber would be an OK deal, but wonder why you can't find a better deal on it with slow sales and all. Drove the caliber, Small windows, blind spot on the side, cheap interior and ergonomics from hell. Look into the 09 Nissan Versa S with power pkg, msrp 15800 for about 14300 and the exceptional 08 mazda3 auto hatchback sport, msrp 19500 and selling for about 16500 or so. Possibly the kia rio 5 auto hatch msrp 15800 if you can get it in the 12000s or thereabouts. Good luck --jjf.

OK......no, you are not crazy for walking. What type of trade in? How much did you pay for it? How much did you already invest in its purchase? Tell them 24,5 out the door which includes TTL....crazy? No. Why? There are plenty of dealers out there.

Re: any way to get this info? [Car_man] by qbrozen on Thu Apr 12 08:15:38 PDT 2007

i gave up on the idea... but 36%!!!! after 2 years???!!! OMG! OK, ok, so its basically 3 years since it is so late already ... or 3.5 years. But still, how great would it be to get a 30k mile Magnum RT for a third of its original price. That's like $10k! Maybe $12k-$13k retail. I just don't see that happening. I'd LOVE for it to happen so I can get one real cheap ... but it won't.
