SVT Raptor lease by sealbeach on Thu Apr 21 08:01:25 PDT 2011

Hi Car_man & Kyfdx: I have spoke with two Ford dealers in NJ and I was told they do not offer leases for F-150 SVT Raptor. Do you have any info with regards to whether Ford Corp. not allowing leasing out SVT Raptor? Much appreciate your input.

Re: FEB Lease Rates for 2011 Mustang [Car_man] by rdel1 on Wed Apr 13 15:48:46 PDT 2011

Hi Carman, I am looking to lease a 2011 / 2012 V6 premium coupe with the comfort package and the 202A package. The Invoice according to Edmunds is 32024 and the MSRP is 34780. I need 12 - 15 K a year for 24 months.... 1) What is the the money factor and residual value so I can determine lease payment? (BTW - How do you find these?) 2) Is it better to go through a lease broker and if so do you recomend any in hte Nrothern NJ area near NYC? 3) Are there any diffrerences between the 2010 / 20100 / 2012 models? Thanks for helping out, your advise on the maxima deal was very helpful.

Re: Lease Newbie [wallstreet1234] by nygene on Wed Mar 09 22:10:33 PST 2011

Wallstreet- Did tha price fro DiBlassi include the moonroof also? That would factor into how good a deal is....i am looking for 15k lease, and got prices for SEL with Navi, 202A, and Roof, but hard to compare bc of the 15 k mile lease Re Pilot, yes, that 1500 from Honda for wear and tear is standard for Honda Corp, not dealer...I tried to get that type of info from the Ford Dealer in Kingston NY, but doesnt seem like they have standard like that, he was more nebulous Kingston Honda Pilot EXL (but no Navi) 1053 down, 483 month, 36 mo, 15k miles....pretty good. Joyce Honda in NJ was similare $10 month cheaper

Car Leasing Experience by sddreams on Fri Feb 25 11:26:50 PST 2011

My 2011 explorer finally came in and I picked it up yesterday! Great car, but getting the deal done was not so pleasant. The main issue was that when I pre-ordered the vehicle, Ford was offering a $500 pre-order discount, but because I was leasing, the dealer could no longer offer it. Also, I NEVER knew that the dealer can mark-up the APR for a lease. Even though I had perfect credit (750+), they marked up the 2.5% APR to 4%! After a lot of haggling and insisting that I should get the best rate FMC is offering, they said they are permitted ot mark it up and that was that! Has anyone else had this experience? Finally, I got a 52% residual (15K, 36 month, Limited 4wd, NJ) vs 51% which is what I believe CarMan indicated was the rate. Thank you
