Car Man or Anyone- Lease #'s from Nissan Dealer Ownner by nring on Thu Oct 28 12:22:57 PDT 2010

Hi everyone. i have done litle research and travelling overseas shortly. can you let me knowif this is a good deal? My wife's uncle is best friends with the owner of 2 nissan dealers in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The owner called me and immediately connected me with the General Manger last night. He sent over the numbers. My wife wants the 4x4 nissan platinum due to the nav- kids entertainment center etc. We are looking to lease for 12K, 3 yrs, and tier 1 credit I really need to be at 600/month max with min out of pocket. Obviously the 2011 make more sense per below. Per the GM "Here are the numbers on the Armada. I have done this with absolutely ZERO out of your pocket (no 1st pymnt., no tax, no tags, etc…). 2010 Armada Platinum 4x4 MSRP: $53,660 39 month lease SALE: $47,993 12,000 miles per year $0 due from customer $723.90 tax included (pa tax is 9%) OR 2011 Armada Platinum MSRP: $54,060 39 month lease SALE: $48,377 12,000 miles per year $0 due from customer $703.04 tax included is this good? also she only really need 10K miles a year but i guess they only do 12K or 15K miles. thoughts if this a deal and run with it or can i said lets do it for 600 mo and i will be there Friday to pick it up.??? thanks anyone for advice.

I'm in Portland, OR. Weekend newspaper ads for Altima 2.5S' here fluctuate between $3500 and $5000 below MSRP.

Altima 2.5S Pricing by pen2 on Tue Aug 10 12:12:34 PDT 2010

Portland, OR Nissan dealers consistently run newspaper ads for Altimas at $4000 to $5000 below MSRP. Often not just for a single car, but for all their Altimas. We recently paid $19,700 for a 2010 2.5S sedan with Convenience and Convenience Plus packages, with no other fees other than the license (no sales tax here). MSRP was about $24,800. There was no negotiation -- we just took the advertised price of $5100 below MSRP. We could have chosen any of a dozen other Altimas at the same discount off MSRP. The interesting thing (at least to me) is that this price was way below what all the online advice sites, including the Consumer Reports car price service, said was a good deal for this car. And again you see this pricing consistently in newspaper ads here. This has made me pretty skeptical of the validity of all the online pricing advice.

Carman. Help! by snow26 on Sun Jul 25 20:22:02 PDT 2010

Looking to buy Nissan Titan Crew cab. I understand there is $5,000 customer cash on these trucks now OR 0% for 60 months financing. What I also want to confirm is the FACTORY TO DEALER CASH. A friend who gets AUTONEWS,a trade publication, told me that in the incentive data section for factory to dealer cash, there is $5,000 from nissan to the dealers. There is a SEPARATE section for customer cash, which is also $5,000 and is being advirtised by Nissan. Can you confirm this? A local dealer is willing to take $10,000 of list if a $44,000 turck. I guess that is how they are able to do this. I assume there is more room to negotiate, considering they are only giving me the dealer and customer cash from Nissan and keeping the normal mark-up for themselves. Please advise soon. Thanks
