Buying a car from a Volvo Car Dealer
I took advantage of that incredible lease deal back in August on my '07 T5 FWD. AT, xenons, leather, audio, sirius and my cap was similar to your $26k (MSRP was $34k and change). My dealer handled getting the financing "other than Volvo". But, you're right, I haven't seen any deals like that since then. You would think that any remaining '07's that it would be possible to deal on 'em, but apparently not on the '08's. At least not yet, anyway. -Brian
So, did you get a deal completed over the Labor Day holiday? At least the way it was explained to me when I got my '07 S40 T5 FWD on 8/29 was that there was more $ incentive to lease outside of Volvo finance, so that is what I did. As I posted in the PP forum subearu, "Volvo S40 Prices Paid and Buying Experience" #650, 29 Aug 2007 7:37 pm - all I paid up front was $130 for title/registration/license -Brian
Just drove home a '07 T5 FWD with premium, audio, and climate pkgs, plus xenon, sirius, and keyless. MSRP $34,812, reduced to $26,600 by leasing with US Bank for 3 years @ $460/month. Electric Silver Metallic, slightly darker than the regular silver. -Brian
