2011 Prius III with NAV by terry1023 on Mon Apr 04 23:38:11 PDT 2011

I just found this forum after I bought a Prius III with NAV today. The MSRP is 27240 and my price is 25585+TTL after the $500 rebate ends 4/4/2010. I also purchased the following but I haven't installed anything yet. Does the price looks OK? If not, can I cancel them and purchase from somewhere else? (1) Leather Seat upgrade $1460. (2) ResistAll EnviroGuard NG advanced protection $430. (3) Extended Warranty 8 yr/75000 mi for $1320. Does the price looks all right? If not, can I cancel it and purchase the extened warranty here?

Re: 2011 Rav4 Base 4WD [delta737h] by verdi942 on Sun Feb 27 16:41:42 PST 2011

That was my long-term insurance agent telling me he couldn't sell Gap insurance in NY, though he said could do so in NJ. Sounds fishy to me, too; but we're talking about a Base I4 AWD stickering at $24,000; with a $15,000 residual for $800 up front; $213/mo - 12K/yr; 2 yrs service [5 visits]; $.15/mi extra miles. The car is MUCH improved over my similar 2007 model, which leased for a lot more, given pre-Recession conditions. Overall, I'm OK with the deal.

2010 Prius II Deal, Question on 2010 Prius IV by redrumkev on Mon Jan 10 18:16:54 PST 2011

Hello all, Today, my uncle got a Prius II on a 36mo/15k lease for $0 due (sign and drive) for a total payment of $305 (for 35 months), which includes Michigan Sales Tax (6%). So it breaks down like this: $ 287.73 payment $ 17.27 MI Sales Tax ------------ $ 305.00 Payment 35 Payments ------------ $ 10,675 My question, I like the Prius IV, I was wondering what the residuals are for the 36 month, 12k and 15k and what a good price would be to shoot for, so I can calculate a lease. Or even better, a lease example. I am looking for all options. Thank you and hope this helps someone else!

Extended warranty by wormyone on Fri Dec 31 21:07:30 PST 2010

I just bought a prius II for $21000 + 0% apr from grappone in NH. Seems like a good deal based on what I've seen here. What I'm less sure about is the extended warranty: $1170 to extend to 8 years or 75,000 mi (also financed at 0%). Should I keep it (I guess I have a month to decide)?

buying out of state - certificate of origin by ldkronos on Thu Dec 23 06:47:51 PST 2010

I wanted to ask about other people's experiences, because I know a few people here have bought their sienna out of state. I live in Michigan and recently purchased a 2011 Sienna from an Illinois dealer. I was issued a temporary 30 day illinois permit, but not a title. I am supposed to get the title myself from the MI Secretary of State. I tried getting a title yesterday, but they said I need a Certificate of Origin (CoO). I contacted the dealer F&I guy, and he made it sound like I will get the CoO from the Illinois DMV (though the way he answered didn't leave me totally confident he knew the correct answer). However, in my google searches, it sounds like the CoO should come from the dealer. So for anyone else who has purchased out of state and had to apply for the title on your own, where did you get your CoO from? Did the dealer hand it to you at closing? Did they mail it to you? Did the state DMV/SoS mail it to you? How long did it take?
