Buying a car from a GMC Car Dealer
No Sunroof, No Navigation, No DVD. MSRP is $40,960. Quoted @ $527 for 12,000 mi / 39 months lease. Zero down. Taxes (MN = 7.375%) included in payment. Also DMV due at signing. Thoughts?
I just received this offer from a dealer on the 2010 Acadia. Please let me know if this is a decent deal for 39 months 12,000 mi per year: Term 39 months Rate .4000 MSRP 32615 Lease Amt 30995 Acq Fee 795 Fees 53.75 Total Cap Cost 31790 Cusomer Cash 3995 Rebate 2300 Net Cap Cost 27236.96 Residual 39% = 12719.85 Taxes 884.27 Base Pmt 378.94 Mthly $36.94 Periodic Payment 415.88 Security Deposit 425.00 Drive Off Fees 1741.96 Net CCR 4553.04
I'd think LONG and HARD about this. I looked at a lot of 2007 Acadia's recently and the value wasn't there. I just bought a brand new 2009 Acadia SLT-1 with backup camera, power liftgate, remote start, everything except for nav and DVD for $35,000 (added hitch and DVD after delivery for $400). True - We're talking about $13k more. But for that $13k you get a newer car, 55k miles back and a warranty that you'll probably need. Even at 15k mi / yr, that's 3 1/2 years of ownership you're giving away. Also, one 55k SLT-2 Acadia that I looked at in MA was already in their shop with a power steering pump replacement. During negotiation, they told me they'd invested $2,200 in repairs in this vehicle (as if this would make me want to pay more). 2009 new Acadia's come with $2,500 in rebates + $500 discretionary dealer rebate and another $500 for your waiver of the "try it for 60 days" program. BTW - If you do look for a new 2009, don't just look locally. I found a new one in another state and paid $300 to have it shipped to my driveway.
I'm in Cincinnati and need to find a decent dealer within 50 mi. Looking for a price on an AWD, SLT-2 Terrain preferrably with the V-6 Thanks.
First, is GM leasing again and what would a fair price be for an AWD SLT-2 Terrain. No money down, 15,000 mi per year. I'm in Cincinnati. Thanks.
