2011 Lacrosse lease rate by stewardrobbins on Mon Jul 12 05:04:32 PDT 2010

Even though they are not on the website, 2011 Lacrosses are beginning to arrive at dealers. Do you have a lease rate for the 2011s yet?

Re: I wish we have your USA price in Canada [easym1] by bobelew on Fri Oct 05 18:55:13 PDT 2007

I am shocked to hear of your predicament. I live in Seattle and they just had an article on the news about our neighbors to the north coming down here to purchase new cars. The dealers in Blaine Wa. and Bellingham Wa. are selling a lot of cars to the Canadians. I have not heard anything about the dealers not being allowed to sell to Canadians. I must admit that the tv news article was general and didn't name any specific brands, but the impression was that The Canadians were saving a bundle, and until the Canadian dealerships can get the cost of their vehicles restructured from the factories, the rush to American dealers is going to continue. Did you try just one dealer, or several? It might be worth checking out. I would be interested in hearing what you find out, or if anyone else is expieriencing the same thing.

Re: It is worth the wait [budi] by lwolf99 on Tue Sep 18 17:09:41 PDT 2007

I agree wit bidi, I would encourage everyone to hang in there. I think this vehicle is worth the wait. I got my Enclave AWD on June 30th - Cocoa color with just about all the options, including Luxury package, Towing Package, Drivers convenience package, moon roofs, entertainment package #4. It was a dealer demo and had about 1,000 miles on it. I would liked to have gotten a brand new one with zero miles, but there were no other Enclaves in the entire greater Pittsbugh area that had the Towing Package that I wanted. I really didn't want the DVD player, but there was $1,000 conquest rebate which mostly paid for it. I was anxious to get one (had the new car fever), so I went ahead and bought the demo one - for a few hundred over dealer invoice press, less conquest. I love this vehicle. It drives and handles great - very smooth ride. It looks really sharp. I have had at least a dozen people come up to me over the past 2.5 months at store parking lots, gas station, etc. and tell me how nice they thought it looked. It is very roomy - even in the 3rd row. The 2nd row captains chairs are super - they make it very easy to get to/from the 3rd row seats - much better than having to flip, fold and/or slide the second row bench seats. Seeing so many people experiencing delays with their orders makes me feel good about my decision to buy off the lot and not to special order (which I wa considering doing, originally). But I have to encourage everyone to hang in there. I believe that you will LOVE the vehicle and it will be worth your wait.

chauhan - U.S. dollars example by fedlawman on Thu Jul 18 22:47:15 PDT 2002

Rendezvous CX, with 1SB retail price: $25,520 + 1SB $1471 + Dest. $625 = $27,616 Now GMO: $21,947 + 1SB $1206 + Dest. $625 + $23,778 Plus $3000 rebate: GMO price = $20,778 By the way, you should strongly consider getting the 1SC. It's only $500 more than 1SB and you get a ton of additional features, including the 3rd row seat. It's the best value for the CX model.

If GM employee plans are the same as in the U.S., there you have two options: GMO is when you order the vehicle from the factory and GMS is when you buy from dealer stock. For GMO, multiply the MSRP of the vehicle by .86 + MSRP of options by .82 + full destination fee to get a reasonable estimate of the GM employee price. GMS is typically a few hundred dollars more than GMO to compensate the dealer for lot fees. Don't forget to add any incentives currently available...you get them too! Of course you have to request a GM employee purchase certificate, which comes in a packet with documents that fully explain the GM employee purchase plan rules. If the dealer wants to honour your certificate, he will tell you so. If he agrees, then there is no room to negotiate the deal with you. He has a computer that automatically calculates GMO and GMS pricing and he should provide you with a printout that details the cost of the exact RDV you are considering. Good Luck!
