Nice deal on white Touring by kcliss on Fri Oct 29 06:53:19 PDT 2010

Finally completed a deal for a white/tan Touring at Wilkins Mazda in Elmhurst, IL. The price, $19,107 (before tax and fees), was a bit higher than some others in the area, but they were very generous with the trade allowance. I mean that; I had a pretty good idea of what the trade was worth, and they surprised me. I'd recommend them; they seem to be pretty up-front, and the service department is competent, too, a plus, since they're the closest dealer to my location.

2011 package changes? by jeffb1 on Mon May 31 07:05:51 PDT 2010

Hi all, Just curious if anyone has knowledge of any option package changes for the 2011 model year? I want a Mazda3 S GT (because of leather, adaptive headlights etc), and in particular the intelligent key (push button start), but you have to spend $2600 (tech pkg AND bose/moonroof) to get pushbutton! What bugs me is I didn't have to add those packages on my 2009 mazda6 S GT to get the pushbutton start, so it seems ridiculous I'd have to on the Mazda3 S GT. I'm hoping the 2011 model won't require BOTH of those pkgs (especially the bose/moonroof). Any help regarding what's in store for 2011 is much appreciated. Thx! Jeff B.

Re: Help me to purchase [ark8012] by mazdaduck on Wed Mar 24 04:12:31 PDT 2010

I got the quote for a 2010 White Pearl CX-9 GT with Moonroof/Bose + power lift gate package for $33,850 + tax and registration fee. Is it good price? The dealer keeps saying that he can offer extra $1,000 if I am not taking 0% for 60 months financing. He said they are buying 0% financing. Is it true? What price would be a great deal? Please advise me with any comments, thanks. Invoice after holdback on GT = $30,303 Invoice on Moonroof/Bose = $1939 Invoice on liftgate for GT = $344 White Pearl = $172 Total = $32,758 ($32,500 would be a great deal) So Ark, as of now, you are paying $1000 over invoice for the vehicle on the last week of the quarter which, in my impression, is not a great deal. I would offer the dealer in person $1,000 less, tell them you are ready to buy today, and if they don't take the deal or try to meet you in the middle, walk out and go to another dealer. Make sure the dealer has your cell phone number and I am sure they will call you. Also, the midwest region has an extra $1,500 in dealer incentives. Just a hunch, might be might be able to get this vehicle for $31,000 across the river in IL which is in that region. I would shop some dealers there as well. Let me know how it goes!
