2010 cooper base & cooper s by ps2121 on Sun Jul 18 20:22:28 PDT 2010

Hi, I visited a dealer and got some quotes from them. Could anyone please help me determine if these are good? They also rolled in the 7.25% tax (IL) and title reg fee (~$250). All 12K miles/39 month Mini Base (MSRP) - MSRP: $22,600 - $1000 down: $ 289/mo or $3000 down: $ 234/mo Mini S - MSRP: - $1000 down: $353/mo or $3000 down: $299/mo Thanks a lot.

Updated data (June) on 2009 Mini by slhouse1 on Mon Jun 08 08:26:21 PDT 2009

car_man & kyfdx: Looking for June buy rate money lease factor for a 2009 Mini Cooper Hardtop Base with MSRP = $20,450 (Auto) 36 mos/12K miles and corresponding residual value. From your previous posts, it appears these little cars hold their value pretty well, but assume it has dropped since the previous quotes of 68-69%. In Illinois, would be looking for zero down and rolling all tax/title/license into the deal. (we pay sales tax on the entire SP in IL). No trade, would like to "sign and drive". First quote came in at MSRP ~ $287.xx/month. Seems high...few posts here said to expect at least 1K off MSRP. Thoughts? and thanks for your knowledge!

What to do by justgiuls on Fri Nov 07 19:54:15 PST 2008

Hi all. I will probably be ordering my MINI next week! I'm really excited but can't decide if i should go with another car to save something, but i adore the MINI. The dealers here in IL are willing to throw in some accessories for me but keep the car at MSRP. What do you think? Go ahead with it?

There are three MINI dealers in the Chicago area, viz: Knauz in Lake Bluff, IL Jacobs in Naperville, IL Patrick in Schaumburg, IL Has anyone paid less than MSRP for their MINI at any of these dealers? :D

Hi Kitty: As far as I know, MINI is still not striking any below invoice deals. The good news is in IL they are not charging OVER invoice. Your best bet is still to negotiate add-ons to sweeten an invoice deal. Floor mats, both sets the carpet kind and the all weather kind, if you want to add racing stripes they will add those in, too. They used to throw in free ipod jack installations but those come standard now, so go to the MINI site and see what sort of extra add-ons you might want to sweeten the deal. I bought mine at the dealer in Schaumburg and they were super nice. I can't give you the salesperson's name here, but he was great. They recently upgraded their MINI service dept and its pretty swank. I've serviced my MINI at the dealer in Naperville and they were also very nice. I didn't buy from them because they didn't have the exact MINI I wanted on the lot and they don't trade between dealerships, otherwise I would have. Good luck! Have fun!
