Buying a car from a BMW Car Dealer
Hi Car_man You have always been helpful. What info do you have on BMWFS May buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2012 X5 35i with 15,000 miles per year? This would be my 3rd lease from BMWFS. For a 2012 35i with MSRP of $48,793.00 I have a quoted purchase price of $46,795.00 plus tax, title, lic and doc fee. Another dealership quoted an MSRP of $48,325 and purchase price of $46,392. What do you think? Thanks, in advance.
Thanks so much Car_man. What is a "vehicle's buy rate?" Are you referring to the agreed upon price of the car? What about my other question regarding having to get new license plates every time i start a new lease? Is that a gimmick? Can I demand to keep the same plates? Thanks again. My lease ends in mid-May and I want to lease my third X5. Any predictions for 3 year 15,000 miles per year lease? Can you comment on loyalty discount?
regarding money factor and residuals...are these negotiable?... i have leased two X5s before...everytime i sign the lease contract, i'm getting new license plates...could i just keep the one i have?...what is the dealer getting out of this "gimmick"?...i'll appreciate any info from car_man or others...
hi car man can you tell us briefly what the eco credit is all about? thanks.
I am assuming you are referring to my post below. I am in the North West suburb of Chicago. I agree. Competition plays a key role in how one can negotiate. I payed 6.5% below MSRP here in a suburb of Chicago. The dealer first came back with 5.5%, then I told him the other dealer 20 miles away is offering more than that, which the actually are, but the are further out than this dealer who is only 5 miles away. I bought a 535ix with premium, premium2.
