Re: Buy the Mazda! [dodgeman07] by kagedude on Mon Nov 08 20:03:24 PST 2010

By all means! Unless somebody sees the front end of the hideous thing, $2K off a new 2011 is a good deal. Bring some earplugs with you too. The road noise in the Mazda can lead to hearing loss after 2-3 hours on the highway. Dodgeman07, unless Edmunds Insideline made a typo on their test results, 61.2DB/70mph is pretty quiet for the Mazda 3i touring as shown below. 67DB/70mph seems to be the average for this class. I can't wait to see the Cruze's test drive results to see if its better. Db Idle: 35.2 Db Full Throttle: 66.3 Db 70 mph Cruise: 61.2 http://blogs.insideline.com/straightline/2010/01/il-track-tested-2010-mazda-3-i-- touring.html

Re: Not so fast ... [colt_hero] by fushigi on Mon Feb 08 04:36:50 PST 2010

Well, colt, they are selling better. Look back at this thread and you'll see lots of posts from people who had to order & wait for their 'nox. And if the prior poster is to be believed, which we've no reason not to, there's only a 12 day supply which is very low especially given the current market. The Equinox is definitely a sales winner. I agree, though, that long term reliability is less obvious. For GM's sake I hope they turn out to be great vehicles that satisfy their owners enough that they buy more GM products. I'd like GM to succeed and gave the 'nox consideration when I was shopping but I wound up buying a competing CUV.

Re: Paid for on 1/3/10 Camaro 2lt [bruce_lee] by qndlb21 on Fri Jan 08 11:38:59 PST 2010

This was in the St louis MO Market....I also omitted that this did not include sales tax since it was not charged since we live in IL..we have to pay that separate.

Re: How much $ for a new 2007 [gbjerke] by c5_4fun on Sun Jun 08 05:40:32 PDT 2008

I finally got the '07 Monty red vert, I looked at it and the '08 crystal red side-by-side and my personal preference was the Monty red. Of course the 2 in this color I had previously scouted out at dealers closer to me were already sold (as I wanted to wait until I sold my '01 vert as I'm a little too conservative to own 2 vettes at once......even though it sounds pretty neat) so I had to use GMbuypower to search out more! I found one more within 200 miles of me and it was optioned almost exactly as I'd have ordered it, so after several hours of negotiation I bought it at $14K off sticker. Anyway, I love the car and while I thought my C5 drove so much better than the C4 and C3's I've driven, the C6 is even better. I can't remember seeing as many prior model year cars still at dealers this late in the next model year as I've seen this spring, although it appears they're selling several of them lately.
