Happy New Year Car Man! Am hoping the new year will bring better or at least reasonable leasing options. Am in the market to lease within next 30 - 60 days and am considering typically - equipped (which I guess means fully loaded) Aero @ 36 mos term and 12k/mi. What is current MF? How would that figure for lease payment ? Also - do you anticipate any incentives (not a current Saab owner) -- Thank you!
The res.Pct. @65% is exactly right for a 9-3 Aero Conv. for 39 mos.,15K. per/yr.Interest rate is marked up .50%,from 6.70%,possibly to waive your security deposit.Otherwise these are the correct lease parameters through at least March 31.If you are in fact looking at a 2.0T model, then the residual value for 39mos.,12k.per/yr. should actually be 68%! Dealers are allowed to mark rate up as much as 1%,residual values are not subject to adjustment by the dealer in any other way than deductions for added length of term(eg.39mos.vs.36mos.)and more or less mileage allowance. And in the case of res.pct. there are only two numbers applicable .......the right one and everything else(also known as the WRONG one!lol!)
The residual is 69% on the 27mos. lease program with 12k. per mos, and the money factor thru gmac is 4.35%, but dealers tend to mark it up to 4.85% to make some extra $$. There is some Saab websites out there with lots of info. Email me if you have any questions, I'm a current owner of 2 saabs.
Hi all. I'm going to lease a 2007 Saab 9-3 base model (only option is cold climate package) and wanted to share my experience. 2007 Saab 9-3 2.0T Polar White Parchment Leather Cold Climate Package (heated seats, headlamp washers) MSRP: 27,545 Sell Price: 27,045 Invoice: 26,528 (per what the dealer showed me) Rate: 3.35% 39 mos & 12,000mi/year Residual: 58% No down payment Drive off is 1st month's payment, reg fee, refundable security deposit, tag and title ($1127.88) Monthly Payment: $387.88 including tax. How does that look? I enjoyed my experience with my local dealer, one of the best car shopping/buying experiences ever. Absolutely no pressure whatsoever. I've never leased before, so hopefully that deal is ok.
Looking for advice on this deal. Went looking over the weekend for a convertible, I got the following offer: MSRP 42165 SP 39495 27 mos 12k per year, int rate 5.7%, resid 73%. Lease payment w/o taxes and fees 499.59 per month. This is a 2.0 vert with the 60th anniv pkg and cold package. Thanks for your help
