2011 Lacrosse CXL Special Rates? by beach15 on Tue Feb 15 20:54:05 PST 2011

Buick's advertised lease special right now is for a 2011 Lacrosse CXL FWD with an MSRP of $32325, and $329 a month for 39mo/39k mile with $1899 down. $395 termination fee. What rates are used with this special, and to compare what would the rates be for a 2011 CXL AWD on a same 39mo/39k mile lease? Ally or US Bank, not sure which they use as the special or which is better.

Re: What's a reasonable MSRP discount? [waltchan] by beach15 on Sat Dec 22 18:44:54 PST 2007

That's likely a bit too much off, to consider. Figure out what invoice is on that car, and consider that your starting point, minus any rebates. Hence, if it were a 2008 CXL with those options right now, should have an invoice right around $35,500--so that would be about your starting point. From that, and again just using now as an idea, you could subtract $2000 in rebate cash...so around $33,500. Basically, a few months into a model year, and with the fact that the spread between MSRP and invoice is fairly small on a Lucerne...$8k off just isn't feasible. It is right now on leftover 2007's, with extra rebate cash available, but that's about it. Just not going to happen, to get that kind of a chunk off, unless it's a leftover 2008 maybe this time next year. Determine invoice price at that time, subtract rebates, and that's your figure.

Re: My Enclave is built.... waiting on delivery! [nunzi] by beach15 on Wed Nov 14 21:14:36 PST 2007

Well, White Diamond is going away, and I had thought they actually closed the order banks more than a few weeks ago--not sure how you were able to still order it. Right now they're just building out the last remaining units ordered in WDT, then stopping, and will start in January with the new replacement color--Platinum Ice. Both are pearl whites, but the main difference is while White Diamond had a light gold base and looked a bit gold/yellow at times, the Platinum Ice has a silver base and it is whiter. But right now, with the lack of them, and only the remaining ones in the system being built...White Diamond models are in even shorter supply than the Enclave in general, and even not being discounted as much as others in some areas.

Re: Center Console Delay [mmboss] by beach15 on Sat Oct 27 09:32:24 PDT 2007

Correct. It was delayed in re-development, and they then said late September/early October that it would be available. But, that changed again, and now it is on indefinite hold. If some of you get familiar with "other" specific Buick Enclave forums on the web, here was what was posted by a member, direct from the GM Hot Sheet to dealers on October 12, 2007: DK1 (2nd Row Center Console)...Although we had announced that the DK1 center console would be available for production at the end of this month, there are now Engineering issues that prevent us from building the DK1 center console. We now expect to keep this console on 0% constraint until likely after the first of the year. Although the option will still be in Order Workbench and Autobook, please refrain from ordering this option at this time due to long lead time. So, it just isn't available yet, despite what was said earlier.
