Buying a car from a Chevrolet Car Dealer
What are the current rates/residuals on a 2011 Equinox 2LT AWD for 36 & 39 month terms, both 12k & 15k? Any other cash available for leases? Thanks, this would be in zip 19966.
Doesn't sound like that bad of a deal. You have to consider that the car was sitting for well over two years on that dealer lot though. I guess you can argue that you will still get the full warranty and everything. I'm assuming you bought it "new" and not "used"? My mother is in the market and it is a toss up for Impala or Ford Fusion. I used to own a 2001 Malibu and absolutely hated that piece of junk. I vowed never to own a Chevy again. It was part of that HUGE dexcool lawsuit after all. I'm pushing her to the Fusion, but have heard good things about Impala.
We have 3 small boys, a dog and seem to always have a bunch of gear on trips. We have never been SUV people, always foreign wagons. We rented a Suburban last summer on a trip and I love it. The gas mileage was better than expected, managing the right foot and the cylinder de activation on the highway makes a huge difference. Now our lease on our volvo wagon is close to coming to an end. I am thinking Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon XL. What should we truly be paying? Is a 2009 better than a 2008? The 2009 do have the 6 speed, that has to help highway miles. Any advice to a SUV rookie would be appreciated.

Options? MSRP? Etc? With the V6, it should be $27k'ish, a little higher or lower, so already does sound like a good deal, yes. Just more specifics would help. At this point, it would be hard pressed to run into any car deal that wasn't "good". Given the Red Tag supplier price minus all the rebates & cash possible, you're good to go.
