Buying a car from a Chrysler Car Dealer
Yes,each one feels differently about a car they drive. If you plan to keep it for more than 10 years then resale is not an issue. But if it is for 4 or 5 years then it becomes a query. Also the drive and comfort levels are different for different people. I was stating from experience.I had Dodge caravan, a twin of TC,, and it had no major problems,,but it had so many minor issues,-- small part break, small leaks, etc.Again nothing major but each trip to the dealer cost about 200$.And not to mention that is was with the mechanic for 1 or 2 days. The first 40000 miles or so,,there wont be any problems. After that its a different issue. But if you like it,,you should buy it. But if you plan to trade it within 3 or 4 years the resale takes a real beating. Plus Chrysler is in such disarray now,,,i dont know if it`s a safe option to buy one now.B`cos if they file for bankruptcy,,,then they need not honor any warrantys,,,and regular maintenance with parts would be difficult,,,specially if it`s a problem with electronics or computer. Good luck.
I tried sending you both the information needed to generate a CDI # a few days ago, but I get an auto-reply back indicating that both of your CarSpace mailboxes are full. Hmm...my Carspace inbox only has 1 or 2 things in it. If you tried to send it from somewhere other than using your Carspace account it would have been blocked. I believe the website has it set to only send and receive email from other Carspace members. Anyway, I already gave away my one and only CDI number. The co-workers I've asked thus far all have plans for theirs. If I run across someone else who is willing to share their number I will let you know.
Tedebear/Rmbalisa, I was wondering if you or a co-worker may be able to get a hold of a CDI # for me. My wife and I have five children and we would like to trade our 2005 Dodge Limited Edition Grand Caravan in for a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. I tried sending you both the information needed to generate a CDI # a few days ago, but I get an auto-reply back indicating that both of your CarSpace mailboxes are full. Any help would be deeply appreciated. If you are able to help me out, please send me an email to my CarSpace account along with where you want me to send my personal info. Take Care
Although I already gave out my one and only CDI employee discount number a co-worker says he is willing to share his. I only have ONE so the first person to send me a PM using their carspace mailbox can have it. Since these numbers are hard for me to get please only request it if you are absolutely sure you will use it. It must be used to purchase a vehicle by the end of this month. If you just want a number to see what the CDI discount price would be to bargain with the dealer, a link to the CDI pricing has been posted several messages above this one. Use that instead and go to the dealer with your best offer. I'll fill you in on the details of what I need from you to register you for the program via PM.
I saw that you may be able to get your co-workers to give you their code. We would love to buy a new T&C. My husband works for ford and they dont make minivans anymore so we would like to purchase a T&C. We would gladly give one of his employee discounts to someone in trade, although I think Ford is offering that to everyone right now. Thanks
