Buying a car from a Lexus Car Dealer
what co did you check with for trnsport?
I am planning to buy a new 2010 RX 350 AWD with Nav, Premium, Comfort package. I see that it comes as a 7 option package( at least that is what I being told by the dealers: PM, CO, NV, TO, EK, Z1, WU). I see that sometimes there are more options added which I may not want( example crossbars etc.,). I am being quoted 42.5. I live in the tri-state area. I see Adam and the others are very active on this forum. I think this is wonderful forum for buyers. And did any one get the car below the invoice price? And if so, for how much? Is there a dealer hold back and are there any incentives? Appreciate any suggestions and input. Thanks
Martin, Optional equipment was CP, EK, NV, PM, TO, V3, WU, and 3T on an AWD 350 with 18 inch wheels ( MSRP $48,259) for $41,025 plus $369 Doc fees. The car is being released for the transport company Monday evening and will be picked up on their normal swing through the MA area on Tuesday with an expected delivery time in SC of Friday Sept 3rd. The Watertown folks went out of their way to get me the doc's overnight so I didn't have any delays with the SC tax office or DMV. A delay would have meant the transport co. wouldn't pick it up until the following week so the doc fees were certainly justified. Art
I have two quotes on a 36 mo./15K lease from a dealership and a third party leasing co. on a 2010 RX 350 AWD fully loaded except for rear entertainment option. New to leasing and need some help as to whether or not these are good deals. My math is different than the figures in the second quote, so thinking it's all a shell game. Dealership: MSRP $48,500 Adj. Cap cost $45,000 L.E.V.rt/56% $27,160 Taxes/rate $ 1,694.70 Money Factor 0.00210 Monthly payment $647.08 If $2,363 down, then $576.00 Out of Pocket: $3,620,78= first month payment, taxes, license and acquisition fees. Second quote: MSRP $48,669 Adj. cap cost $46,051 LEV/RT/56% $27,254 Sales tax $ 1,615 as quoted Money factor 0.00175 Monthly payment $613.74 (if down payment of $2,363 then $598.99) Out of pocket: $1,298.99 (includes first month payment, license, acq. and doc fees Local Dealer 1 has taxes paid up front. Out of State Dealer 2 has taxes figured into payment. Thank you in advance for any advice you have. Thank you, CarFan
Hey guys, I am in pacific northwest, have been looking for Infiniti G37x for my wife until now, just test drove an AWD250 recently, a nice car, G37 seems like too much power sometimes, IS250 good enough. I would like to know if we decide to buy one with Premium plus and navigation/mark levinson package (MSRP close to 42.8k), what should I offer the dealer to start with & what would be a resonable price to pay for? I am sure you guys can help out b'cos you have bought one or looking at one. Wasn't happy to see that IS350 doesn't come in AWD version. Thanks in advance. Cheers..!
