Co-Signing & Lease Terms by biggbrother on Mon Apr 18 20:38:32 PDT 2011

I am going to be a possible co-signer on my fiance's lease of a Tuscon. I qualify for top-tier, but she probably does not since she hasn't established much credit yet. Since I qualify for top-tier, would she be able to get the lease through Hyundai under these terms since I am co-signing?

Thanks for the heads up! I will have a co-signer on the lease with excellent credit so that should be an issue. What is the approximate lease payment I should be looking for? Also, are there any specific questions I have to ask? I already have a sample list: - What are the dealer fees - Is oil change / extra service included - What are the early lease termination rules THANKS!@

Re: RESIDUAL VALUE (RV) [edgar_in_vegas] by fdic47 on Mon Feb 28 04:09:45 PST 2011

RV is a % of the MSRP and it's set by the leasing co. and so is the MF. The MF will be lower if your credit score is better. Mine was at .00085 which works out to about 2.5%. My deal on a Sonata Turbo 2.0 Limited with a $28000 MSRP including 9% lease tax in PA and adding mud guards, bumper applique, wheel locks, mats, cargo net, Ipod cable, warranty on wheels and tires, paint sealant, and leather protector. For 3yr 36 months with $500 owner loyalty credit a trade ($4000 + $1000 cash) $200 month

Did you end up buying? What dealer in Dupage Co. I'm in Roselle. Think I'm going to try the Costco buying club.

Elantra gls auto Cincinnati, Ohio by jfritsch on Wed Sep 01 17:07:44 PDT 2010

Bought Elantra gls auto aug 31 msrp 17,700. After 1500 rebate, 1000 hyundai finance rebate (financed minimum of 7500 @3.9% for 60 mo -- can pay off after 1st mo with no penalty). Paid cash of 7360 for balance. 13840 including doc,tag and title $1020 ham co. Ohio tax $14860 otd Salesman called with a no bull offer of 13840 last day of the month after emailing 6 dealers this week. They were the lowest and test drive, forms, finance application, temp tag and drove the car home in less than 3 hrs. Dismissed "come on in we'll talk" without quotes forthcoming from several dealers. Like the car, warranty and dealership. Randy the salesman was good at Superior Honda Fairfield. Can't say things will be straightforward always as things seem to go smoother when a particular dealer wants (or needs) to move a car(s) end of month.
