I just closed a deal today for my sister-in-law on a new 2010 leftover Corolla LE with floor and cargo mats, keyless entry, cruise control, heated outside mirrors, etc. as well as all standard LE equipment. Her daughter qualified for the $1000 college graduate rebate. She ended up paying $13, 600.00 (no joke). There was no trade in. Doc fees and taxes were extra as taxes are paid separately in RI direct to the registry of motor vehicles and not to the dealer.

Sienna in RI or MA? by toysie11 on Sat Oct 02 14:29:02 PDT 2010

What deals did anyone find on the 2011 Sienna in RI or MA?

2011 Sienna LTD AWD Blizzard Pearl by jacobsmomma1 on Sat May 22 19:51:49 PDT 2010

Hello all. Its been awhile but we have been busy searching for the car we want. We live in RI and this exact trim is hard to find - they have FWD but we want AWD which we always had. Finally found it today 5/22 at Toyota Nashua - 80 miles+ from where we live. This is an excellent dealership and we had a haggle-free experience with them. I will gladly email anyone who want salesperson names. MSRP is 45,339 and here is the breakdown: 39,770 Base Price 220 Special Color 4,025 Limited Premium package 800 Delivery processing and handling fee ----------------------------------------------------------------- 44,815 This matches truecar and edmunds 67 Alloy wheel locks 82 Extra 2 wireless headphones (so we have 4) 51 Cargo Net 324 Carpet Floor Mats/Door Sill Protector ----------------------------------------------------------------- 45,339 total sticker/msrp price 41,195 is the negotiated price internet/phone. I believe this is $200 below the total invoice price including options. I asked for $500 below invoice and they said that they can do on LE but not on this model. After we agreed on $41,195, Internet Sales rep requested $500 deposit but found out the next day that they never charged my card - they just needed credit card info to hold the car for me. 13,000 tradein value - they matched the offer we got from carmax so we are happy with this deal as well. 349 doc fees is what they charge. We got a 3.99% for 6 years or 2.99% for 5 years from AAA. They matched it with 3.74% APR for 6 years with TMCC (Toyota Motors). Lastly, we got the 2yr free maintenance. We also got the $668 5 yrs/unlimited miles tire warranty - we got this because we had a friend who has the old Sienna with run flat tires and it cost them $1000 to replace all four. We understand that this does not cover wear & tear but covers the any damage to the tire and rims (except if you hit a curb). Last week, we also made a deal with another Toyota dealer. Prior to going there they also had a Sienna LTD AWD Blizzard Pearl with premium package MSRP is 44,815 (no other options). I didnt want to put a deposit on the car over the phone because they wouldnt disclose the selling price and just kept saying $500 below invoice (I was skeptical on what their invoice price is). The Blizzard Pearl was sold when we arrived at the dealer. They then convinced us that they can do a delaer locate & swap in 3-4 days and there are 11 in the area. The catch is we need to settle on a deal on the LTD AWD Salsa Red they have in stock which they will swap. We agreed on the price for both Sienna and our tradein which is not bad. The problem is 1 week have passed and they are not able to do the swap. Their financing was not able to match the AAA APR and they never mentioned the 2yr free maintenance to us. They are now offering us to order it and wait for 3-4 weeks or buy a different vehicle (Blizzard Pearl LTD FWD or Salsa Red that they have). We just decided to cancel the deal with them. I am so glad we didnt agree to order since we now have our Swagger Wagon home. Email me at jacobsmom885@gmail.com if you have any questions. Thank you all for all the inputs - this forum has been very helpful.!

Re: 2011 XLE AWD (w/ Premium Package) [pearliegirl] by jacobsmomma1 on Thu May 13 16:00:03 PDT 2010

Pearlie girl - we live in RI and have been shopping for more than a month now. We have AWD on both of our current cars and have been used to it. Now that we are looking for a van we defaulted to Sienna due to that feature but we are telling dealers that we are also looking at Honda Odyssey which is true. Last month, in truecar, the best price in our area is with Bernardi (Boston area) which is $300 over invoice. This month, the best price is at a dealer in Warwick which is $100 below invoice. The dealers will honor this price regardless of what trim you choose in the end - you just need to make sure that you know what the invoice price is of every trim. Unfortunately, they dont have the trim that we have available in their lot which is why we hesitate. We have been checking the inventory of other dealers instead and asking if they can match or make a better offer. As for the Honda Odyssey, the best price we received is over a thousand dollar below invoice. The MSRP is 41,456 and they are quoting us at 35,856 plus $200 doc fee and sales tax. This is the Honda Touring with Res and Navi which I believe is their top of the line. This offer is looking very good right now and we are now considering it. We like their black interior which is much better than sienna's light colors (in our opinion).

Re: XLE AWD with Entertainment Package - Boston area MA [baobab] by jacobsmomma1 on Mon Apr 26 05:42:11 PDT 2010

Hello user baobab. My husband and I are also looking for the XLE AWD with only the EY - Entertainment package in the Northeast region. All the dealerships in our area (RI) do not have this combination so I am really thrilled to see your post and that you were able to get one and negotiate at below invoice price. So far, all the quotes we have received are on XLE AWD with premium package and are nowhere near the invoice price so your help would be very much appreciated. The dealers that we talked to said that they would have to order the combination we want from the manufacturer and wait six weeks. The fact that we have to wait is not issue but negotiating anywhere near invoice is proving to be difficult. But we have not tried Amex/Zag yet so that is one more option we have to look into. If its not too much to ask, I would like to get information on the saleman you dealt with at Toyota of Watertown and I am wondering if it is possible for you to email me at jacobsmom885@gmail.com? This is a new email account I created just for this purpose and I plan to no longer access this account after I receive the information I need. Thanks again!
