Buying a car from a Audi Car Dealer
Bought mine at a local Boston dealer in the past 2 weeks. black/black 2.0 prem plus w/o navigation: MSRP 40,275 Invoice 37,909 Price paid with $1500 loyalty incentive- $37,164. Finance 2.4%, 48 months. I'm a tier 1. no car is worth waiting 4-5 months. Mine was at the port in RI and dellivered within 1 week.
I've called dozens of Audi Dealers in the NY, PA, CT, NH, RI, OH area. There were maybe 3 cars on the ground that met my specs (Deep Sea Blue (Brown or Beige), Premium Plus + Nav, 19" 5-Spoke wheels). I was ok with B&O or more equipment too, airbags, mats, etc... Let me just say that any dealer with that actual car was unwilling to trade to any other dealer and only willing to reduce the price by $750. Considering I would have to fly and drive home, that's hardly a discount. I'm trying to work with my local dealer now to get me that car and keep the money in our local economy and save me a trip. Is anyone else running into the same scenario? Oh, most dealers also wanted to charge me an additional $300 for their bogus "doc" fee that they print right into their contracts.
I just purchased a 2010 Q7 TDI black on black with Premium Plus, Tow Package, Cold Weather & Wheel Locks for $55,279 at Inskip Audi in Warwick RI. I think this was a great deal as MSRP was over $58000 and all the other dealerships offered $1,000 - $1500 off. Drove it off the lot today but so far so good. We were leaning towards the BMW X5 Diesel but wanted a little more room. Not a huge fan of the LED lights think they are a bit much with the grill but very happy to see they got rid of the greyish bumpers and went with matching bumpers with chrome. Any questions on the 2010 let me know. And oh yeah when the salesman tells you people are buying them at MSRP please walk away.
Depends on where in NE you are. I've seen dealers in RI carry some, check out mattieimports.com for example (actually they're in MA).
