Re: 2011 Honda Accord SE [sammyk2] by 1sebringnow on Sat Feb 05 06:26:42 PST 2011

Thanks sammyK2. That is an awesome deal. BTW the absolute best I could do in CT was $21,000. No other dealership in the area would go below it. THen I contacted succuci in RI, and they were at $20,800 before taxes and Reg. ATIMAN in MA came in at $20,500 before taxes and Reg. Finally, I also used the AMEX as a starting point for the Maryland, VA dealerships, Criswell wouldn't budge below the AMEX price, OURSIMAN in MD did. I was able to get all-season mats, wheel locks, and all kinds of trim for the car at the $19,600 price- but not certainly not worth the $1,000 you saved. Proves that being patient saves the consumer money, but also shows that these invoice prices and the "real price" is very negotiable. I am happy with my deal, but a $1000 is a $1000 all day long. Enjoy the ride - it really is a great car. Rides so much better than the 06 accord I had. I took out a bunch of 2010's and even though it is the same style, still rides better.

2010 CR-V EX 4WD by cc1995 on Sun Jan 02 15:56:37 PST 2011

Paid $22,500 (Includes dest) + RI Tax 7% ($1,575) + $298 Doc fee = Out-The-Door. This was for the 2010 CR-V EX 4WD @ 0.9% for 60 months. Really happy with this deal based on the truecar price in my area. I also decided to pay $300 cash to have them install the motion alarm system since I live in Providence and the Security system that comes standard in the EX model doesn't sound the alarm based on motion or throwing a brick through the window and wheels from nice foreign imports have a way of getting stolen around here....so I thought it would be good to have the motion alarm in case someone tries to heist my wheels or steal the car by going in through the window....plus I'll get a 20% break on my insurance by having that Thought about having one installed elsewhere but was worried that if I ever had an electrical problem with the car Honda would blame it on the install of aftermarket alarm...Atleast if something electrical happens due to the alarm it's under lifetime warranty...thought it was worth the extra $300 based on where I live. Thought I got a great price on the CR-V anyway. I thought that the EX alarm had this feature standard with it though...my own fault...I would have tried to get them to throw it in if I knew. Color was royal blue with black interior and I got one with a Vin # beginning in "J" (manufactured in Japan)....Ive had good success with that in the past.

2010 Odyssey EXL in CT by chiku18 on Mon Sep 20 07:02:54 PDT 2010

I was offered 28,400(including destination) + TTL (doc fee only 200) from RI Dealer for EXL. Only condition is I have to finance thru them , if not then I have to pay 28600. Do you guys think this is a Good price? I am now thinking about buying EXL with RES ? Any advise?

Re: 2010 Odyssey EX-L (No RES and Navigation) [terrapinct] by yossarian3 on Thu Aug 05 15:15:53 PDT 2010

terrapinct, Where on RI did you get the Odyssey at that price? I have been emailing and am pretty close, but not quite there. It does look like they want to get 2010s out to make room for 2011s.

Re: Anyone live in NNJ or surrounding area ready to buy Odyssey by 6/30/2010 [rangersace] by chiku18 on Fri Jul 09 17:08:18 PDT 2010

Thanks Rangerspace for all your help. Extended warranty is same price at saccucci honda RI also has the same quote.I am planning to purchase one as well. I also bought EXL along with free remote starter for 28790 (incl dest). There doc fee was little high as 349 (but they gave me FREE 4 years key replace and paint protection etc which was 99 he said). But everything in the deal was very good and pleasant with route 22 honda in NJ. OTD 31161.80 (excluding DMV). Thanks to all of you for helping me stick with my number.
