Update: just realized the TMV on Edmunds is for a 2010 G37, not a 2011. If anyone has purchased a 2011 G27 with 6 mt, I would be interested to know if you were able to purchase that vehicle for a price below invoice. Thanks.

Did you take that price on a 6 mt sedan? Edmunds True Market Value for a 6 mt with navigation is listed as just below $34k, but because I'm not as familiar with new edmunds as older edmunds, I cannot locate the list of current dealer incentives on edmunds like I used to know how to do. I was considering a CPO 2010, but for the prices that dealers are asking, it's a very similar price to get a new 2011 if Edmunds TMV is accurate (I haven't checked with any dealers in the area just yet). Any thoughts appreciated.

But good luck finding a MT. I was thinking about leasing a Sport Coupe since you can save about $30 a month on a lease versus a Journey+Premium. According to all of the local dealer web sites, there are 26 coupes available in the Phoenix area. None of them are Sport models.

2010 G37 Sedan MT Price? by zenbu0172 on Sun Mar 07 18:56:04 PST 2010

Hi, Has anyone bought a 2010 G37 Sedan manual transmission? I am seriously thinking of buying one and was quoted around 36k for one with the nav/premium package. I was also told that the MT only comes with the nav/premium package. Is that true? I live in Massachusetts. I would appreciate folks sharing their buying experiences, how to negotiate and what they think is a good price for the 2010 model. Thanks!

The most economical way to obtain a car: 1. Don't lease; pay cash. 2. Buy a very reliable brand (e.g. Infiniti or Honda). 3. Drive the car for 12 years. 4. Carefully keep it in top condition. You will be surprised at it's value when it comes time to sell it. 5. Avoid dark paint colors. Admittedly, they look great when new, but they age quickly so that the car looks old before it's time. Dark colors show every scratch, minor dent, and speck of dirt. 6. If feasible, avoid automatic transmissions, especially if the MT gets better fuel efficiency (doesn't apply to the G37). If you don't have the cash for a G37, then by an Accord LX or EX. The money you save will help you pay cash for a better car next time.
