April Buy Rate for E350 Coupe by shap1 on Fri Apr 08 10:08:30 PDT 2011

Carman, can you please confirm the April buy rate for the E350 coupe? I saw .00161 on one of the car lease rate sites. Is this correct, or is it .00240 like the sedan?

Yes sorry I'm on my bberry. I meant money factor. How many miles per year was your lease? And what was the final sale price? What county in fl was your dealer?

.0022 is probably the money factor and not the residual. assuming a money factor of .0022, a 15,000 mile residual of 57% and no cap cost reduction (ie. downpayment), these numbers don't seem to work on my spreadsheet unless they are selling you the car for more than $46,500, or are selling you the car for $46,500 and adding other fees to the lease. Acutally it lookes like they are giving you the car for MSRP less $2,200. I also assume that the $1,089 "drive off" includes first payment of $738 leaving $351 in other fees. I think you may need more details on the deal. I just leased a $54,145 msrp e350 in july with $3,500 down and $562/mo, inlcuding 6% Fl. sales tax.

$54000 msrp $46500 sale price .0022 residual 15000 miles $1089 drive off $738 including 7percent fl sales tax.I am considering waiting another month for lower money factor. I got spoiled with my 08 E class as I have a .0011 :-)
