Buying a car from a Saab Car Dealer
Got an unsolicited e-mail from Schumacher Saab; "$10,000 up to $13,000 off MSRP.". Gave an example of a 9-3 for $19K and change, Sounds good so I write to ask of they have any manual transmissions in stock; Answer oh yes, red, blue black white green with parchment interior; Come up and see so and so. OK. I take a ride to the dealer. 1st lie: Only color in stock is black. 2nd lie; Rebate is $9k. Gave me a low number for my trade. Told the salesman I wasn't interested. Tried to hold me hostage by keeping the keys to my car in the manager's office, and challanging me why a $9k rebate wasn't good enough. AVOID Schumacher in West Palm Beach, FL.
What are the lease rates and residuals for April/May for the 2.0 sedan or sportcombi for 24 to 27 month lease at either 12 to 15k miles? Anyone know and I assume that you can apply the $2500 incentive to the cap cost reduction also? Thanks for the information.
I noticed some advertised lease 27 mo lease specials in Fl for March. I'm interested. Do you have the details?
Can anyone tell me the MF and RES value for the month of Feb. on a 9-3 Conv. standard? Dealership gave me a 65% RES, which I think it's too high and a MF of .003 (7.20% way too high) 39 mo 12k miles I'll appreciate the info as I need to make the deal by Saturday (1,000.00 cash back ends in FL)
The residual is 69% on the 27mos. lease program with 12k. per mos, and the money factor thru gmac is 4.35%, but dealers tend to mark it up to 4.85% to make some extra $$. There is some Saab websites out there with lots of info. Email me if you have any questions, I'm a current owner of 2 saabs.
