Buying a car from a Chrysler Car Dealer
Anyone have experience turning in a T&C (or any Chrysler) at the end of the lease. I have a small (1" or less) tear in the leather of one of the rear seats, and just received the end of lease information about inspecting your car from Chrysler, which indicates that 'any' tear, regardless of size, is chargeable. Can't seem to find anyone at Chrysler to give me an honest estimate as to what type of charge I'll be looking at at turn-in. The board seems pretty quiet here...CarMan, anyone? Thanks.
Sorry I can't help u with prices as I bought a 2008 Chrysler Touring the end of Aug 2008. Based on what I read here, I pd too much, but I travelled from VA to NC to get the color and options I wanted and I really love it! In a year + 3 mos I put 29,000 miles on it and have had no problems—take that back: I had a hose leaking (from AC?) on passenger side, which was fixed under warranty! XXX (keeping my fingers crossed). I also had a 2005 Dodge mini van that I liked (except for the color), and at 49,000 miles had no problems, but the 08 had quite a few more safety options included as standard: side air bags, stabilizer, open windows on 2nd row seats, and some other stuff as well. Love the MyGig, and Serius radio. Don't have, but would have liked leather seats. GOOD LUCK!
Seems to me that all the good deals are gone. Dealer in my area just sold a 2007 limited for 26k, original 42k. Not much else is coming in on the web. I'm in NC. Anyone know of any new Crossfile Limited deals? ?
that would be nice if the local dealer could swap one and sell it to me. if they have to buy it from the dealer, thats what Im afraid of. I see all the dealers in my area (Raleigh NC) I guess Ill have to call around. Wife wants the swivel seats and the inventory doesnt really list that from what Im seeing. Im trying to figure out whether to go with a nicely equipped Touring model or the Limited Also, anyone have an opinoin on the integrated booster seats? are they quality or just a gimmick? do they affect regular sitting when retracted?
I shopped in West Tennessee. I traded in a Ford Ranger and got 5500 off the deal. I used the EMPLOYEE ++ pricing to get the price I spoke of earlier. I had seen a handful of better advertised prices in NC and GA, but noone could quote a better price for the signature series that I got. I plan on having this for quite a while, so I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the lifetime powertrain is worth 2 cents. I held off on the Extended Service Contract. I may consider that down the road once, Chrysler-Fiat appears to be viable. Let's all hope that, they can sell enough cars to stay afloat.
