I live in the central part of North Carolina (Winston-Salem). I just returned from window shopping at the local Hyundai dealership...all of their new Elantras and Sonatas have "Additional Market Adjustment" of $995 on the dealer sticker next to the mfg window sticker! I don't know what they will sell for, but I haven't seen that on a window sticker in a long time....

The residual on the SE Turbo is higher at 59%, so you can get it for the same payments as the SE 2.4 despite the higher sticker price. Just FYI. My local dealers are selling even base SE's for over $2k off sticker: $21,400 for an SE 2.4 and $22,900 for an SE 2.0T. Of course, prices vary depending on where you are. I'd look at truecar.com and Edmunds own TMV to see how you should negotiate the price of the car.

Sonata SE 2.0T w/Nav Residual Value? by th83 on Sun Jan 30 11:49:09 PST 2011

Hi Everyone, I have a quick question about the Sonata Turbo's residual value. I know that it's 59% for the Turbo SE w/o Navigation for a 12k/year lease, but what is it for the Turbo SE with Navigation (same terms)? 57%? Nobody seems to be interested in that one so I haven't seen it posted. Thanks in advance for the help!

2011 Genesis 3.6L with Premium package by akg4y on Thu Jan 27 21:15:09 PST 2011

I just drove home a 3.6L Genesis with premium package (no nav) for $31,500 ($33k out the door) including cargo mat & net, rebadging (not including the true airbag replacement, just the decal on top of the steering logo), ipod cable, and wheel locks. I qualified for the $1500 competitor rebate but nothing else... great experience at the Williamsburg, VA dealer, dealt with Mariester but everyone there seemed really nice. Basically I emailed a bunch of dealers all around VA, MD, and NC and they gave me the best price. One other dealer said he would beat it by $500-750 but he also claimed he could get the car/color combo or had it already and that was a flat out lie because nobody had the car I wanted for a month so I didnt trust him enough to drive 1.5 hours to find out some other surprise. The car is awesome.
