I'm looking for the residual and money factor for Charlotte, NC on a 36 and 39 month lease with 15,000 miles for Edge SEL FWD. Also, do you know of any incentives for May for Ford Edge leases?

I definitely agree, that's way too much for an Explorer. I would go a little higher than $550 for the Limited 4WD with the 302A package as it includes several premium features such as ventilated seats, adaptive cruise control, BLIS, etc. When you price out a similarly equipped MDX or etc it's pretty pricey, but I still agree, for a $45,000 vehicle $780 is too high.

Do you care to share the details on your lease? I'm being quoted around $770 for a Limited 4WD with $0 down for cap cost reduction. Way too high for me, so I'm curious what others are seeing. When I build and price it on ford.com I come up with payments about $100 less, I realize that's just an estimate but I don't see anything that would make it be off that much.

My 2010 Fusion Sport deal by sigma1914 on Sat Mar 27 14:57:29 PDT 2010

Just wanted to post my deal so others can get a feel for what is possible, at least in NC. Tuesday I bought a 2010 Brilliant Silver Ford Fusion Sport with reverse sensing and rapid spec 401A. Total MSRP was $28,095.00 My price with no fees: $25,473.87 - $2000 in rebates = $23,473.87 My out the door price with 3% NC Highway Use tax, NC inspection, title, tag and admin fee (yuck I know) was $24,854.64. I went through Sam's club's dealer referral system and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. The dealership was Capital Ford in Raleigh and they were very easy to work with.

What you got is what happens all too often at more than just Ford dealerships. Instead of listening to you and getting you the info like you requested, the salesman was simply going to try to force a sale on you. It's good you walked away, and if it had been me, I would've slammed them on the survey.
