I live in Nj and always use MSD's it is a great return on the money, I do not believe you can title the car in NY and use msd's. i know ny dealers do not quote msd's because i tried to buy from one in the past

They are treating your trade as cap cost reduction. Money down is NEVER recommended on a lease. (do a search on this - lots of info on the insurance implications - basically if vehicle is stolen or totaled, you may lose some/all of your down payment. I'd max out your MSD's (again, search) to get the money factor lower - dealer may play dumb on this, but I'm pretty sure you can do up to 7 MSD's in all states except NY - then have them cut you a check for the difference from your trade. Your payment will be higher, but you can offset that with your cash in the bank. You'll get a lower overall interest rate, plus have a nice chunk of change when your MSD's are refunded at the end of your lease.

Villager - how many miles is your lease term? 10k, 12k, 15k?

Looking at 335 Convertible Manual by asninla on Sat Apr 23 14:07:11 PDT 2011

Anyone know what a good purchase price on a decent loaded 335 conv with manual transmission. I want to buy/lease next week. Seems no one in the NY area has manual transmissions. I know they are out there. Dont need Navigation as my Andriods have them for free, but I am not familiar with the BMW packages. Basically, what sought of discount am I looking at off MSRP?
