Southern California (San Diego) Camry Lease by canuckinca on Tue May 03 22:23:47 PDT 2011

Hi everyone, I'm looking at leasing ... 3rd car, to take up the load of some mileage. Here's the car: -- San Diego, CA area, possibly LA as well since manuals are harder to come by. 2011 Camry Base 4dr Manual Transmission No extras MSRP on Toyota website is $19,820 I'm Tier 1 (790 FICO) credit Questions for you pros! 1. Residual for a 12k/36month lease? What about a 15k/36 month lease? 2. What would be a good sale price? (net cap cost) -- invoice is $19,291 per KBB 3. Anyone with any suggestions/experience on getting something similar? Thanks!!!

Re: Questions about leasing a 2010/2011 Prius IV [lasaab] by manku on Tue Mar 15 15:44:32 PDT 2011

Having just leased a III with NAV this past weekend here in LA, I would say you would be fortunate to get one for $400 with tax. Also, something you may not know, but Toyota doesn't include GAP insurance in their leases...you need to buy it in the finance department (or maybe your insurance company can cover you)...they charge about $15-17/month for that...so tack that on to the above payment. Good luck.

This is what I get from a dealer. I have contacted multiple dealers, seemed this is the best price I got. Just wondering why it is so much higher than what other people's price? Would it be viable to purchase it in LA, CA and drive it back? Re: 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid lease [Car_man] by edgar_in_vegas on Sun Feb 27 04:22:46 PST 2011

Hi Car_man: Checking in from Las Vegas, NV! I'm looking to lease a 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Here's the deal I'm being offered locally: =================================== Lease terms: 36 months and 15,000 miles/year MSRP: 33,683 (Pretty loaded model) Residual Value: 53.5% (18,022) Lease Money Factor: 0.00001 Cap Cost: 31,403 (*They claim this is Invoice + $300) Total Add Caps: 1,049 Adj Cap Cost: 32,452 Customer Cash Down: 463 (Amount due at signing) Total Monthly Payment: 433.83 =================================== I would appreciate if you would let me know if any or all of these figures are accurate and fair, particularly the quoted invoice of $31,103. They are taking a pretty firm position that they will NOT lease at or below invoice. Also, they are suggesting I better take advantage of the LMF (.00001) because it may change for the worse after February 28 (this Monday). Again, your thoughts on all of the foregoing would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I am out of touch but I did not think this was a "smokin' deal." THANK YOU!
