if helpful for others... in Los Angeles is what I found Acura MDX w/Tech MSRP inc Destination $47,115 Money Factor 0.00135 10K miles / year = residual of 58% No money down Only pay registration and tire fee totalling $592 at drive off Dealer pays first month lease payment 35 payments at $602.50 inc tax (effectively $585 when counting the free payment). Equates to approx $43,000 purchase cost

I just test drove the RDX awd w/o tech pkg and fell in love. I am not sure if i can get it @ $$34,022.5 with includes tax out the door and the registration will be extra of course. I live in LA area and I saw the car in Van Nuys california. Please help I dont' know if that's a fair price?

Just bought a MDX w/ tech for $43,386 before T&L from Autowest Acura. No other accessories. Acura of Serramonte has one for similar price (but includes wheel lock and tri-fold cargo mat). But they did not have the color we like. It turns out LA dealers did not have to pay $300 advertising fees. So the LA dealers were selling the same car for $42K. Oh well...

In the past I have found truecar.com to be a better indicator of current sales prices for cars. In the LA area (I just used my own zip code), a V6 TSX Base goes for around $31k, so I would aim for that.

Oh wow, the difference between LA and NJ is $2k on the TSX? Hmm.. that seems quite a bit. Did you click the "recent sales" tab and look at the lowest bar graph? I just typed in a random NJ zip code (07047) and truecar is showing me the lowest price of ~$28,000. (2010 TSX w Tech Auto) If you have a carmax nearby try to have them appraise the car. I found them to be more generous.
