Buying a car from a Mercedes-Benz Car Dealer
Just wanted to see how you made out or if you deferred into May, as the incentives seem to be bulging with the awful NE weather. Also, what factors did you use to decide lease vs. buy and term...in the end? I am curious what might be the best approach given the different incentives now in place. My dealer is literally calling his entire roladex trying to move inventory. ALL: I am trading my 2008 GL450 on a E350 Sedan w/ Premium 2. I live in State College and we have a limited selection. I am a loyal Mercedes man (third in ten years) and as unhappy as I have been with the GL, the depreciation on the E series is awesome. Just can't decide whether to buy or lease this time. Have about $25 in equity on trade and $5 to put in. Any advise would be most welcome.
Picking up my car in 3 days. Originally wanted to get RWD model, but dealer can not locate the car I want on NE, so I decided to go with AWD. Here is the deal. MSRP $59K, Black E350 4Matic, P2 package, AMG package, Lighting package ( don't know what it is ) - lease 39 months, 15K a year, due at sign in about 2000 ( bank fee, first payment and DMV fee ) - $770 a month including NY salestax
Maybe they were when I asked the question :). Thanks for the response though.
Can someone please give me the money factor and residual for the 2008 S550 4Matic? I have the numbers for the 2009 model but I'm wondering how much different the residual is for the 2008 model. Thanks.
Does anyone know of Mercedes forums that have discussion of current pricing like Bimmerfest.com has for BMWs? Basically somewhere to see what people are paying that is more active than here. Thanks.
