Buying a car from a Nissan Car Dealer
...may be you should try LA. It should be very cheap there. It might be even cheaper than here in the NE. I would take a bus or train to LA if I can get it for about 22-22.5K. 1.5-2K cheaper than your demo.
Calculated correctly, truecar says that a "great price" in my area is anything less than $24,187. Apparently dealer cost is $23,914. It seems your area is not as competitive as here in the NE. Base on truecar and you want to take 0% instead of the $1250 cash, I would say 22.5k + TTL for that demo or 23.5K + TTL for a new car. You should try to get some numbers from out of state dealers. You might be able to get a better deal.
To All, At a minimum you should easily be able to get $5000 off of MSRP. I Recently bought a fully loaded (every option) 2010 NIssan Altima 2.5SL with Tech Pkg,and everything else offered that had MSRP of $30,800. Price OTD was $25,000. That also included window tinting after market add on from dealer. The discount was $5,800 off plus dealer cost of Window Tinting add on ($175). That's a 19% discount which is well under True Dealer Cost. Will have to pick up 2 hrs from home rather than using the local dealer which was a joke of a quote. Great deals are out there folks for 2010's that are still left. Appears to be plenty! Regional Area: NE, MO, IA, KA. Good Luck!!
I have had replies that were positive wanting to know what went wrong and others, like "loach" and "flightnurse", who think sharing a negative experience is wrong (i.e. shoving it down throats). Nope. Never said it was wrong - simply that you put it in the wrong thread - which is of course what happens when you post the same diatribe in 15 different threads.
Well said, Denny. But he won't stop spamming this thread because he can't help himself. He'll probably prove it by replying to this post.....
