Re: 2009 Buick Enclave [ven7782] by mts13 on Wed Jul 15 20:03:56 PDT 2009

Can you tell me what dealer in Central NJ. I'm in CT and there isn't much inventory up here. I'm also finding that the dealers won't negotiate at all on price. They say that tis supplier price is it - won't even take a few hundred off. Does anyone have some recent prices paid. I'm looking for a 2009 CXL AWD. Many Thanks

Enclave '09 Supplier vs. Negotiated Pricing by byrne222 on Tue Feb 17 06:29:44 PST 2009

I met with a CT dealership the other day, test drove a '09 Enclave. When we talked pricing the sales person said he could "go about $2000 below MSRP". I mentioned I have the availability for GM Supplier Pricing, and immediately offered that pricing, which is 1% of MSRP over invoice. (Note the supplier offer was: $41,046 (Invoice) + $443 (1% of MSRP) = $ 41,409.) Question 1: Should I not mention the availability of GM Supplier Pricing to see if I can get closer/below invoice? Question 2: In addition to the 0% financing, they also offered $2000 rebate because I am ending a lease on another (non-GM) vehicle I have.. I have not heard of this incentive . anyone else. Thanks in advance.

Re: Buick Enclave: Lease Questions [Car_man] by dogbyte on Sat Nov 10 06:18:05 PST 2007

I have been reading the posts here with interest. The Enclave although priced significantly lower than the competing imports (Volvo CX90, Acura MDX) similarly equiped, leasing is really not an option currently. These vehicles can be leased for $500 per months or less with cap cost reductions of $2500-$3000 added up front. I have not done the math on a no money down lease comparison but it sure looks as though GM's leasing program is not worth a warm bucket of spit. Too bad.

Re: Just ordered new Enclave [jpiatchek] by readyformyrl on Sun Jun 17 11:22:56 PDT 2007

jpiatchek, what state do you live in and I just wanted to confirm that you bought and did not lease? I've spoken to delears in CT who say they won't even honor the X plan or GM Employee program since they feel they can get retail+, I typically shop in NJ anyway because most CT dealers seem to be disconnected from reality.

06 price paid & experience by wildcat1 on Thu Oct 13 06:27:58 PDT 2005

I ordered my 2006 Lacrosse CXS with [ what was in 2005] the gold convenience package, stabilitrack, XM radio, and chrome package on 16 Aug 2005. It arrived at the dealer and I took delivery on 20 Sep. I used the Costco auto purchase service to get a pre negotiated price from the dealer . The sticker was $31,510.00. The dealer discount was just over $2,000.00, the manufacturer rebate was $1,000.00, I also own a 99 Intrigue which I allow my son to use now which gave me a $1,000.00 "Loyalty" discount, and I used my $3,500.00 GM credit card points which made my effective purchase price of the car before document fee, tax & license $24,000.00. There was a $175.00 "document fee" plus sales tax and new plates [ in CT]. There were several leftover 05 models in stock in most dealers, but they all had sun roofs and other undesireable options [I also have a convertible], but I wanted a 2006 due to the increased warranty, ability to get exactly what I wanted without unwanted extra's ,and the side curtain air bags as standard. I figure that I paid about $850.00 more for an 06 than an 05 with the 05's employee discount before I used the loyalty and credit card credits, but have a one year newer vehicle. If I'm going to purchase a new car, I want it new for an entire year. So far, no problems, and I love it.
