Buying a car from a BMW Car Dealer
congrats! what dealer in CT? What made you come all the way to CT for a CPO BMW?
Just picked up my CPO 2008 328xi from a dealership in CT on Monday and drove it back to the St Louis area. 2008 328xi, graphite with gray interior. premium package, cold weather package, ipod adapter, Mileage 25910. CPO until Feb 14. Cost: 25,990 plus dealer fees and registration. After driving it 1000+ miles in 20 hrs, i can say....what a nice smooth driving vehicle this is. Averaged 29-30 mpg the whole way home on the highway.
Hello, I'd be grateful if someone knowledgeable advise if this is a decent price in CT? 2008 535xi cpo with 26,500 miles Premium, sports (with multi-contour seats) and cold weather packages Nav Park distance sensors Logic 7 stereo Comfort access CPO warranty ends 12/2013 Price: $36,500 (excluding $1,500 credit on CPO scheme that expired today)
Here's the deal we agreed to, I pick up the vehicle next week. 335xi sedan Manual transmission Premium M-sport Cold weather Navigation HK radio Sat radio iPod and USB Smart phone integration Metallic paint MSRP is $56,950. Includes destination of $875, a dealer fee of $100 and two package discounts of $600 and $150. Selling price is $50,650. 36 month lease, 15,000 miles allowed per year. Residual posted is 56% and a money factor on the paperwork of 1.55 although I'm assuming this is either a converted APR or is just mis typed and is .00155. Monthly payment included is $665.40 which includes 6% tax Total due at inception is $2701.90 comprised of license, doc fee, first payment, cap cost, and tax on cap cost. Minus the holiday credit of $1500= $1201.90 out of pocket. Very happy with the deal and we had three dealers offering roughly the same discounts on 335xi's. Just opted for an awd sedan with manual transmission and otherwise loaded.
Have any new body style CTS-Vs gone through galves lately? What are those going for? What's Gavles say about my wife's 2007 BMW X3 (Montego Blue, Black Leatherette, Rear Privacy Glass, Steptronic, Heated Front Seats, 45K miles) that we returned about a month ago? The buyout according to our lease was $26K & change. IIRC, the dealer offered to sell it to us for $21,600, but then wanted an additional $2995 to CPO it + tax. I figured (my own guesstimation) the auction value (what they could buy it from BMWFS for) is somewhere in the high $18K to mid $19K range.
