Hi I'm new here and just trying to figure out if I'm am getting a good lease offer on a 2010 Highlander SE 4x4. Sticker is $35,333, I would be trading in a 2007 4-runner sport which they are giving me $21,500 and I owe $18,600. Offer is $460/month 3 years/15,000 miles I live in WV If you need any more info, please let me know, any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I went here and played around with various zip codes surrounding the DC metro area. It seems like surrounding state does show a $750 cash rebate that Edmunds does not. These areas include DC/MD/PA/VA/WV based on a few that I entered. http://www.cars.com/go/advice/incentives/incentivesModel.jsp?zc=20001&myid=11324- I don't think Toyota's website would list all their incentives besides low APR since it would put their dealerships at a huge disadvantage in negotiations. It's third party sites like Edmunds/Cars.com that report these for savvy buyers who have done their research. My question is, how can incentives known to one website not be known to another considering the amount of web traffic each of these two gets? Is it possible Cars.com is incorrect? I would like to know the facts before negotiations and not get shot down if there are indeed incentives.
I used to live in Fairmont now I live in Northern VA. I just got a quote the other day for a 2010 camry LE with moonroof, alloy wheels and leather interrior for 24800 out of which 1k was for the leather. So you can definately negotiate a rate of $23500 for the Camry LE with moonroof and alloy wheels. goodluck. Grab the offer now, the 0% financing for 60 mos lasts until 8/31/09. Goodluck
The sticker price was $22,650 for an LE automatic 4 cyl with no added options. The $114 was for scrap metal - doesn't make a bit of difference whether the car is pristine or crawled in with a last gasp of smoking, rusted funk, on four bald mismatched tires. They are only giving you scrap value. At most you are going to get a hundred bucks or so because it is solely based on the weight of the car. If it is loaded with nice parts, the salvage company gets that as their profit for participating. Go to CARS.gov and read the details for yourself. The deal I got has little bearing on what you will get, it depends on the dealers involved, where you live, your willingness to negotiate, their willingness to bend, whether you buy a car off the lot, whether you order additional options and a bunch of other stuff. You might do better, you might do worse. Turn off your computer and hit the streets and do some of your own work for a change.
Hi Dio: Tfhanks for your message and the time/effort. Still doesn't help much for those trying to comparison shop as you didn't tell how your deal price compared to window sticker, etc. But I guess people don't want to tell those things!! :-)) Also, I am still mystified by your $114 salvage value on top of the $4500 C4C. If that is the case, I have such a truck with an engine having only 40,000 miles on it, a set of fairly new tires. a truck bed with no rust, etc., etc. I recon the salvage value at around $1,500 to $2,000 bucks. But I also recon no dealer is going to give me a cent above $4,500 . . . so I am still pretty amazed at your words!!
