West Virginia Ford Car Dealers

I emailed for bids on a 2008 Ford Fusion/Mercury Milan AWD last night Went to local dealer in WV today and was offered about $3250 below sticker price on a Milan, including $1500 cash rebate available nationally I believe. Sticker price was about $24500. Received email for similar Fusion, slightly more expensive, from another dealer in PA offering about $4250 below sticker. Sticker price for this vehicle was about $25300. The difference was a "competitive owner rebate" of $1000 offered by the PA dealer to anyone owning another brand vehicle. I would like to know if the competitive owner rebate is available to all dealers. I would prefer to buy locally but also want a competitive price. I can find this rebate at dealers in a few other states, but can't find it on the Ford website. Can anyone help? Also, any thoughts on these prices are welcome. Thanks

I just leased an 08EB. From everything I saw at the dealership it's actually better to lease an 08 than an 07 due to the money factor and residuals. My 08 had a 0.5% interest rate, 2 year lease, 52% residual (3% lower due to a 19,500 mile per year milage). The price included WV property tax, sales tax added monthly and gap insurance. I ran the numbers every way I could and it was considerably cheaper for me to lease this for 2 years even with the intention of buying it at the end of the lease than it was to simply buy it up front. I'm new to leasing but getting the first 48% depreciation financed at 0.5% really makes the difference. I believe the interest rate used on the 07 was 9%. I priced a 07Surburban (salesman demo) lease and it was sky high, even after they discounted it $11,000 (53000 MSRP to 42,000 sale price). Worked so well we also leased an 08F150 for my daughter and son-in-law. They did the 3 year lease and plan to buy later. I liked this because if gas does indeed hit $5 I'll walk away from this and won't be $8000 upside down as I would have been in a traditional loan.

thanks wpalkowski,but i am looking for amore stock looking bed. i know they are out there because i have seen them i just cannt find a website for them

can anyone please tell me where to find the ford bed that looks stock but has doors on the sides of it?thanks i have checked over the net but can not find it and i have passed them on the road. thanks
