Buying a car from a Lexus Car Dealer
Well, imo they should be up front about fuel economy if it requires special driving. We went from Akron Ohio to Huntington WV....all highway driving, albeit a little hilly and I drive 70mph and we got 21.5 mpg on those tanks! My Range Rover.....which all the greenies dog for its fuel economy, did better than that on the highway. I really cannot believe I am the only one getting crappy mileage from the 450H? Other cars I have purchased recently the rated mpg was lower than what I actually got. 2010 Mazda 3, '08 H3, and the Rover. If I have to drive "special" to achieve the published mpg rating then they should tell you that.
Hi. I just drove one today in Charleston WV. Nice, but did not like the big hump coming into driver front floor area. I could probalby get over it. What was the MSRP sticker price, including destination on the car you are speaking of? The one I drove did not have NAV and stickered for about $37,500. They had a couple of NAV vehicles that were about $41,200 or so.
Lexus 2007 IS 250 AWD...NV Navigation , HL HID lamps, WV wood interior trim, Z1 Pkg Cargo-mat-wheel locks, Tungsten pearl, MSRP $39,072.00, so far the best price I have received is $35,057.00 plus tax, reg and dealer fees of $399.00...Is this a good price? They say it is $400.00 over invoice, but I did a search and it seems that invoice is $34,228.00 If invoice is $34,228.00 and they add $400.00, it adds up to $34628.00...The dealers reply was the additional money on their invoice is because they have to add an advertising fee, and would not budge. Went to 3 dealerships, and after price haggling with them, heard the same speech....That is the bottom line....so, I hope that $35,057.00 is still a good price, this AWD car is in great demand in the northeast, and the dealers can not keep them on their lots....please let me know about the price before I sign the papers!!! Thanks!!!
