Maryland Nissan Car Dealers

I did my test drives at a couple of different dealerships and, once I was sure the Altima was the car of choice (had narrowed it down to that and the Sonata turbo), I e-mailed through several outlets (edmunds, nissan.com, truecar) to dealers around the Baltimore/DC area. As it turns out, Browns had the lowest price of the dealers (using Truecar) and they are right by my workplace. The quotes by e-mail were all higher and the Truecar price was quite nice. I simply went to the dealership and they had the car I wanted and we wrote up the purchase order. No muss, no fuss. BTW, the Nissan dealership in Germantown, MD had the same price but was not as convenient.

I just closed on a loaded 3.5SR on 12/30/10 at a Northern Virginia dealer and I think I ended up pretty well. Kudos to truecar.com for the assist. The only other potential issue was that the dealer normally charges a $389 doc fee, but they lowered it to $99 since I am a Maryland resident (max of $100 in MD). Sale went through quickly with no issues or dealer add-on crud. Financed with Pentagon Federal Credit Union at 2.99% for 60 months, but dealer did offer 2.69%. I decided I'd rather stick with the credit union for $2 extra a month. What do you all think?

msingh626, This is a very good deal, although there seems to be a slight error in the residual Value of $22,453 - that is only 56% of MSRP, not the 59% you were told. Where did you find this deal (dealer, city & state)? Thanks. MD

Did a deal like Big Joe's (thanks) :) via e-mail this past Thursday with FreeHold and picked it up this morning, They were unable to locate the second key but was ordered by them. Overall a good experience, took a little long because they were so busy. Was told it was the last one they had available when I picked it up. Really were eager to please. Even did my out of state paperwork for a nominal fee, beats waiting in line at the MD DMV. Would have liked the C package, but there is a reason they are discounting these and which other Hybrid can you buy for $15.3K after tax credit.
