What I paid by mncw on Thu May 05 07:14:10 PDT 2011

2011 Acadia S with 9611 miles on it for 25,995 + TTL at Brown Buick GMC Subaru in Amarillo TX. If you live in the area I highly recommend this dealership. They were so easy to deal with that I bought the car on my lunch break.

2011 Acadia Denali Pricing & Questions by texanagain on Fri Jan 28 20:17:39 PST 2011

Signed contract yesterday for a new 2011 Denali, White Diamond Tricoat/Cashmere with NAV and second row console. I added $150 for dark tinting front windows (legal in TX). MSRP is $46,980 and Inv is $45,401. Negotiated a final price of $42,900 (before adding $150 for window tinting). Edmunds TMV is $45,325, so I think I got a good deal. Any comments? I am putting down $3,000. 1. Dealer financing form calculates the 6.25% sales tax on the selling price BEFORE down payment deducted. Shouldnt they deduct the $3K down pmt BEFORE calculating tax? 2. Dealer added "Dealer Inventory Tax" of $80.51. Is that Kosher? 3. Dealer also added $125 for document fee. I understand that this number is negotiable. Any comments on what be a fair number. I had heard that anything over $100 is high.

Re: Am I getting a good deal? 07 Denali XL loaded [brewboy] by huntandpark on Sat Nov 07 22:30:00 PST 2009

tx for the reply. the 07 does not have bluetooth but my wife doesn't care for it. it does have Onstar so that is a watch. no third row DVD but again not important as we hardly ever use it anyway. neither has cooled seats so it's a wash. it will be a $10k difference no matter how we slice it. plus the 07 has $4000 bling 22" rims that my wife loves. $2200 will get me a 5 yr 100k extended so I am covered for a long time. i should know tomorrow but I am leaning toward the 07 as it is white vs. black and I have looked on the internet everywhere and this seems to be a deal no one can really beat - the truck is the GM at the dealership whose wife drives it so I know it's been taken care of.

Thanks. Were they still offering the 0% financing on your price?

This seems like a good deal, and better than mine. Would you mind sharing the the dealership name, city and state? Is this in TX or close? If you are close, I wonder if they would do better if they got 2 sales...
