If memory serves, you have to be north of 740 to be considered "top tier". I'd come to the table with financing ready. Consider hitting up a credit union. They are offering the best rates right now. That way if 1.9% can't be gotten through VW, you have your backup.

What are the rates for April on these two different builds: 2 or 4 door GTI DSG w/sunroof 3yr/36,000 mile lease (12,000 miles/year) 2 or 4 door GTI DSG Autobahn 3yr/36,000 mile lease (12,000 miles/year)

Re: 2011 GTI Lease vs. Driver's Option [oov] by GBrianK on Sat Mar 05 02:52:41 PST 2011

Check to see which option is cheaper. As for price, most dealers are giving easily $500 under invoice. I've heard of some folks getting more off on the Autobahn's because they're not as attractive (due to their $30k+ sticker). Where in Texas are you?

Re: 2010 Routan SEL w/RSE & NAV [1stminivan1] by robin27 on Sun Sep 05 13:07:31 PDT 2010

We bought a 2010 Routan SEL Prem w/RSE & NAV, 4.0 for $29,000 incl TTL, Houston TX. We've only had it for a month, but seems like it will be a pretty good vehicle. It was between this and the Oddessy for us also. My husband liked the VW better. The RSE is great, NAV is great, gas mileage in city is about 14. If you need a car seat in the back, be aware that the D rings are smack in the middle of the 3rd row seating, making not the ideal fit for an adult in the back, but it does seat 7. The power doors and back lift are wonderful. I believe the Oddessy has a little more room on the inside (?) so I would take a hard look at it. If the DVD players are down, you're going to hit your head getting around in the vehicle. Storage in the back with all rows up is a winner. Twelve bags of groceries.
