Buying a car from a Dodge Car Dealer
We wrecked ours (2001 caravan) last week crushed the front drivers corner going about 35mph- rear shoulder strap didn't catch my little girl who is 12 was hurt very bad. Jerk the front straps they catch perfect me and her dad were not hurt at all, then jerk the rear shoulder straps you can tell they Dont catch and we paid the price but Thank God shes doing better now. She had a concussion from slamming the handle on back of drivers seat with blood coming from eye nose and mouth. Got pics of her face. Just to warn ya- Traumatized Mom in TN wish someone had warned me! Bought a 2005 Kia today 5 star crash rating ALL seatbelts catch on FIRST jerk. LOVE IT got it for about 16,500 5 yr. bumper to bumper warranty with road side assistance plus 20 yr 200,000 mile powertrain warranty.
Hello all. I am a new Dodge owner. About 3 weeks ago I bought a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x4 SLT with the 5.7L hemi engine. It has the 20 inch chrome wheels and the electronic AWD and tow package. I bought the truck from CarMax after having it shipped from Knoxville, TN to Norcross, GA. The price was $23,995 and it had 10,000 miles on it. I traded in my 96 Nissan 4x4 King Cab with 89,000 miles, which they gave me $5,100 for it (purchase price after trade was $18,895). I thought this was a fair deal considering the great condition the Dodge was in. Questions: It has an aftermarket (I think) dual exhaust system that has a great sound but it is a little on the loud side. Would moving the exhaust outlets from the sides to the rear make the noise a little quieter in the cab? Also, I am now thinking about upgrading to a cold air intake system (such as K&N). What other brands are recommended? Does this void the manufacturers warranty? Does this actually improve performance and most importantly gas mileage over the original equipment? I am also thinking of eventually adding a roll-top bed cover Thanks for your suggestions and comments. Thanks, Anthony
I got my '02 Quad Cab last week. Flame Red, 20" wheels, 3.92 axle, SLT, premium seats, cd player, keyless, 4.7 auto. Sticker was 27945, paid 24400. Not sure I got the best deal here, but I'm happy w/ it. Invoice was 25050 according to Edmunds.
