2011 Jeep GC Laredo X Incentives?? by thunderkoda on Mon Mar 07 13:58:06 PST 2011

My lease is up in a few weeks on my 2008 Grand Cherokee. The incentives are horrible right now for a 2011 Grand Cherokee and gas prices are on the rise. I was just wondering if anyone thinks I should wait for better incentives down the road. I have another older Jeep so I don’t need to rush into another new one. Is Jeep as well as the other car companies going to have a melt downs again with gas prices sky rocketing resulting in big incentives??

If you are in the tri state area check out sansone dealership in woodbridge nj. I agree with you on getting the hemi especially if gas prices go up enlight of all that is happening in Lebanon. I hope gas prices don't go through the roof.

Lease up on GC 2007 by cars1235 on Thu Aug 19 12:22:28 PDT 2010

Do you think it's best to go with a different dealership to return the lease or to the original dealership? Original says payout is 16.4K for GC 2007 and I've never leased before but am now looking for a used Honda with much better gas mileage.

Re: Will 2010 GCs get bigger rebate? [paule] by can50turtle on Wed Aug 04 05:49:47 PDT 2010

I agree ... it is just conjecture on my part. But "I" think it is a high likelihood. RIght now the 2011 GCs are selling for close to MSRP. This is due to their newness on the market and taking advantage of the fact that some people want to be the first on the block to have a new model vehicle. Come January 2011 I fully expect the 2011 GCs to be selling at a "normal" price ... meaning a couple hundred over invoice. Then you consider that mid-size to large SUVs are becoming less and less popular. Who knows where gas prices are going etc. So, come January 2011 I also expect that Jeep/Chrysler will need to have a rebate in order to assist the sales. Now ... what will that rebate be ... $2,000, $3,000, $4,000 ... who knows? Let me suggest a $3,000 rebate. Given that the 2011 GCs are a few hundred less in invoice price to the 2010's (something that is heavily noted in the media). This would make a base 2011 GC Loredo with 4wd come out to something like $28,700. Or about $600 more than I can get the 2010 GC for now. Again, just a fun conjecture. But something I need to use in my buying decision. I'm not going to be buying a 2011 GC ... but need the 2010 GC rebate to go higher very soon if I'm to buy a Jeep.

Just bough in a rush by wjz87 on Thu Jul 30 19:25:35 PDT 2009

Not under CARS program, but still bought my first Jeep Patriot. 4X4, CVT2, 26E, sunroof, wheel/tire. MSRP $25,085. Paid preferred price $23668 - $3500 incentive = $20,168+ Tax 6%+Doc $100 + ~89 title/plate. Free 6 oil changes + lifetime inspection. Bought it concerning (1) rollover safety (w/ 1600MPa strength B-pillar), (2) warranty (for CVT), (3) gas mileage (should get 24/25mpg) and price/incentive. Considered Ford escape 2009, Chevy Equinox 2010, Subaru Forester 2010, Mazda CX-7. Never considered Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue, Mitsubishi Outlander. Wanted safety/security pkg, but couldn't get it.
