Re: 2011 Cooper Hardtop [dad2be] by rockstar03 on Wed Jan 26 14:50:12 PST 2011

If anyone is still interested in getting a quote - I bought my new 2011 MC (automatic trans, premium package, iPod/USB/Bluetooth) last week. I was able to get $2100 off MSRP but only after getting multiple quotes from various dealers (this was like pulling teeth, mind you since most of them want you to go in). There's currently a 2.9% APR financing deal and the "free bonus option" which includes I think either cold weather package, automatic transmission, bluetooth, cold weather package (Mini dealer website states what options they have available). Unfortunately with the price that I got, they wouldn't give me this "free bonus option" because I'd be under invoice. I asked if this was a manufacturer incentive (which according to another dealer is) but my MA said it's a "partial-manufacturer incentive." Hmmm... sure... okay. Well I knew that they weren't going to go any lower on a 2011 in my area and it was the car that I wanted in that color. Since they wouldn't go lower, I asked for floormats which they gave me :) Hope this helps. I think this thread shows that it's definitely possible to get close to invoice but it's a bit more difficult than most cars since Mini doesn't make as many...

Ordered Mini Clubman by rtboon on Tue Mar 25 17:27:00 PDT 2008

Just ordered a Mini Clubman S from Peabody Mini in MA and was told the wait is 3 months withan earlt June delivery. This seems a little long and was wondering what the usual delivery times are? Test drove a Mini S and Clubman with the Clubman superior for ride and room. While the price is high, the key is how you option it. rtb

2007 Cooper S lease for $400/Month by shoplifter on Sat Dec 01 13:44:00 PST 2007

My local MA offered me a 2007 Cooper S manual to lease for $400 a month for 36 months with no money down and 10k miles. the car includes sport package, premium package and leather seats. The MSRP was 27K. This sounds about average price? (i leased because i am reluctant buying such a small car but its too cool to ignore!) thanks for your thoughts.

Need help regarding pick-up of my Mini by esgam on Thu Sep 27 20:52:23 PDT 2007

I got an email from my MF saying that my car is ready for pickup in So Cal. I have a dilemma in that I'm stuck in Northern California for work until the 3rd. My MA is telling me that I have to sign the contracts by the end of the month. I could do that via faxing, etc., but I really think I should see the car before I sign for it. Additionally, I'd love your input, do you guys think that there will be much of a change in interest rates for October, since it is the first time the 1/2 point cut will affect BMW Financial or other Lenders? If it will, then waiting until the 1st to pick it up would be worth it. What can/should I do???
