Re: Just got my price [lexlov] by jane3 on Sun May 08 07:47:15 PDT 2011

lexlov, I went to Watertown, Ma lexus. I emailed 2 dealers in Ma and one in Nh, the NH dealer gave me the lowest price, but I wasn't sure if it was for the colors I wanted. I went to Watertown and told them I have this price from NH, and I negotiated up from that. In the end, I wanted the car and color they had in stock, it was the end of the month so I knew they would be ready to go. Could I have gotten a better price? probably if I negotiated more. I aksed for $41600 based on what the internet manager gave me in NH, 2 dealers told me they couldn't match it and Watertown told me it was too low, in the end I got it for $42900 though I would have liked $42500.....but they were easy to deal with, and the floor salesman brought out his manager right away when I told them about the $41600. They keep asking you for your best offer, so I went in increments of $500 and he came down in increments of $1000....

Lease option in MA and NH by dee54 on Tue Mar 30 09:56:23 PDT 2010

ok, just finishing for lease with BMW (actually they are paying for payment of $551 for April on my 2008 528I) They will lease me a 2010 328i xdrive with $1800 down for all fees and $519 mo. for all bells and whistles except navigation. Is this a good deal? This lease is for 15,000 miles for 36 mos. I have also looked at the 2010 Lexus IS 250 AWD for $1500 down for fees etc. $450.50 mo. for 15,000 miles for 36 mo. with all the bells and whistles including navigation and back up screen and a/c seating. And then the Audi A4 Quattro 2010 Premium Plus for $1500 down for fees etc. $481. mo and a check back to me for $551. for the April payment on my BMW. Also 15,000 miles for 36 mos. I like all the cars. Which is the better deal? They all want me to take receipt by tomorrow. Thanks for any help. Dee54

First post here so sorry for any dumb ?'s. I live in southern NH near Ira manchester. How did you get yours for $6300 below MSRP. from my investigation the invoice price on yours would have been $37584, correct? so how did you get this for more than $2500 under invoice? Thanks Steve

Re: Best price in MA and NH [lobsterma] by rar2 on Sun Dec 20 11:33:35 PST 2009

thanks lobsterma for this info. I did the internet pricing, or tried, and watertown called, they were very nice and informative about packages etc. so I may go in just before xmas. Of course, take everything with the skepticism required. Went to northborough and they didn't even want to tell me what the net price would be only the msrp 43-44K, I told them Edmunds said 36K. That's what I want to pay with the prem package, remote start. They suggested pre owned. Any chance you think that will be possible? thanks again.

What was the price at Watertown before any taxes and fees? Can you say if there was a large difference between Manchester and Watertown?
