Re: 2001 Sonata SE - Great Price? [pleasantvillem] by mmmitty on Thu Feb 24 06:28:11 PST 2011

Pleasantville Mike I was able to negotiate away the dealer fee and get them to throw in Wheel Locks. So essentially, I managed to get the SE (premium pearl white) with Nav + Sunroof, Auto dimming mirror, carpet mats and wheel locks for $22,799 (OTD so including all fees) + sales tax and (no trade in... yet;) ). All this without going to the dealership, however I asked multiple times that that is all I'm going to pay for, and they assured me they pride themselves on being upfront to begin with and don't include hidden fees. I'll be heading in on Saturday to sign the papers and finalize the deal and can let you know how it goes. I'm in Boston but will be picking up the car about 1hr north - in NH. If you would like I could see what they have in stock, or if they would be willing to do the same (or similar, they were hesitant to throw in the wheel locks and autodimming mirror, not sure if they would do it again) deal, and then I could give them your contact details. (I'd get a 100 dollar referral bonus too!). No pressure though, I wouldnt do it just for the referral. They've been a pleasure thus far, and if the buying process goes as smooth as the 10+ calls this week, I'd rec the dealership.

Re: new 2010 Sonata's for 15K? [emenga] by dansim on Wed Mar 31 07:31:49 PDT 2010

I have 2 offers for about $16500 on base Sonata GLS's. I live in Mass. I know it wont help you in Houston, but thought I'd throw my expewrience out there . One offer is in south NH about 50 miles away. another one closer - about 20 mi away. I am hoping to get to $15K, but not having much luck. Here is detail of one deal. I wonder if anyone has ideas on what else I coud suggest. Ask dealer to apply more of factory to dealer discount? toher? Also, there seem to be tons of 2010's around so I thought Id get more aggressive pricing from dealers I've contacted via Internet. 2010 Hyundai Sonata Our First Recommendation GLS w/PZEV 5-Speed Automatic 4dr Sedan (Manufacturer Code 26404) MSRP: $20,720 Route 2 Hyundai's Internet Price: $19,028 Manufacturer Rebate: ($2,500) Your Price: $16,528* Included Packages and Options CF - Carpeted Floor Mats CS - Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (PZEV) Special financing is available for all 2010 Hyundai Sonata for all customers with approved credit (available through 03/31/2010). 0% for 36 months, 0% for 48 months, 0% for 60 months.

Re: Santa Fe Limited Touring? [atipo] by joserijo on Wed Jul 29 11:17:59 PDT 2009

I picked up my new 09 Santa Fe Limited Touring yesterday. I live in Boston and had to go 60 miles to Manchester, NH to get it. I could only find two dealers in all of New England that had any. I paid $100 over invoice, but they also charged $400 (!) for "documentation". If you want the car, I think you're going to have to pay their price.

New 2008 Elantra SE, Salem NH, $15K by desrod4661 on Sun Feb 22 17:43:42 PST 2009

Just bought a new 2008 Elantra SE, Auto Tranny, Gray with BluTooth, in Salem NH for $15K delivered. The dealer still has a bunch of new 2008 GLS, but I had to get the SE as my daughter's going to be driving it and I had to have the stabiity control for her. Anyway, took some competition from a nearby dealer to get to the $15K price (of course the losing dealer said they'd go lower, AFTER I chose to commit with the winner). Anyway, happy with the price, happy with the deal as well as the dealer I bought from...
