Re: How is this LEase take over! [drro] by dlittle2 on Mon May 31 09:14:36 PDT 2010

I bought LE 2010 Corolla (power window and power door) yesterday at San Diego north area, with 15694-500+TTL. It is based on the a price of a AD on newspaper + $200. I spent 2 whole days shopped 6 dealers at SD area. I got pissed off couple of times, but I sticked on the price and color. Too hard to get one peny down from dealers. Hope this helps the Memorial end car shoppers.

I'm in SoCal so a little different, but try to get quotes on the outskirts of sf area. I've been trying around LA and SD area with few dealers willing to go below msrp, but if you go out a bit you get better around 2k-2.5k for certain Limited models. Many of these dealers are willing to deliver the car to you too.

I just purchased a LE w/cruise, remote door locks, mats and the heated mirror pkg,,,pretty standard LE. MSRP 18,314. I paid 13,850 plus doc fees of 55. Your tax and Lic will vary from county to county. This was an ad in the local paper, but they gave us the choice of color, as long as the MSRP was 18,314. Toyota of San Diego was the dealer, Van was the "Internet sales person". No/low pressure through the deal. I've been looking in the SD area and the best deal had been 14,995. Note: all these prices reflect the 1500 rebate being used against the price.
