Here's the details on February leases I got from Las Vegas, NV: Elantra GLS Automatic Money Factor .00098 Residual 66% 12k/36 mo At full MSRP, no down, this is $214/mo + tax What do you think? P.S. do you also have the numbers for the 2011 Genesis Coupe? I was given these: 12k/36 mo MF .00167 Residual 59% MSRP 24350 Selling price 21900 Incentive 1000 Payment $257.90 + tax Any input would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to pull the trigger this President's Day weekend. Thanks! --Daniel

NV Tax. Although, I didn't put anything down at all, so my first payment wasn't until 30 days later, they obviously applied the tax then. The Cali dealership gives you a "Trip Permit" to drive the vehicle across state lines. You are supposed to go immediately to the DMV to register the vehicle. We actually drove around in Cali for a few days after we got the car and then waited a day after we got back to go to the DMV. Whats great about this is you can actually, finally get more financial options.

Can I ask what dealer (state) offered GLS w/AT w/ pop. equip for 19.5k? The best I have been able to get is 20k (plus 399 dealer fee and tax for OTD) on the base GLS w/ AT and no other options in NV. Should I hold out for a lower price?

Re: 08 Sonata GLS V6 [backy] by fadam on Tue Mar 25 15:45:22 PDT 2008

I'm thrilled to say that my experience picking up the promised floormats concluded with no excitment or drama whatsoever; the salesman was very accomodating and the mats were the correct color! I've read the "get it in writing" horror stories so I was very relieved when there was no trouble with this final piece of my purchase. Now I can fully enjoy my Sonata. I didn't ask them to enable the auto-lock feature; I'm still getting used to the vehicle and will probably decide to have that done in the next few months. Thanks for the tip, though!
