Re: Leftover 2009 Denali ?? [budnisa] by aquaria on Thu Dec 17 07:44:00 PST 2009

I purchased a leftover 08 in Nov of last year and the MSRP was 59,010. I drove it off the lot for 40even. No matter what, the economy is still hard and dealers are happy to be selling anything these days, especially these big rigs compared to the greener cars coming out. Id hold tight or do some comparison shopping and come back with the lowest price to the dealer of your choice. Good luck.

We live in Vancouver, WA, and I too have had a good chuckle over the perception in the local market that everyone has to have AWD. The locals seem to be just as clueless about driving in snow and rain whether all four wheels are driven or not, but that doesn't change the dealer's idea that there is no market for 2wd vehicles whenever there is a AWD option for a given vehicle. I just planned to buy it somewhere else - CA, NV, ID, wherever...makes for a good road trip on the way back. [None of the local Saturn dealers, for example, have a FWD Outlook, and even the Seattle dealers have too few to make the choice reasonable - but all have endless rows of AWDs to choose from.]

Re: Expected August Rebate [biged] by tidester on Wed Aug 04 20:42:27 PDT 2004

The numbers I hear are in the $4,500 range for most SUV but credit customers may expect as much as a $6,000 rebate on a Suburban or Envoy. You can read more here. tidester, host

The feedback form is intended, among other things, for edmunds.com users to alert our editors to possible discrepancies, shortcomings or inaccuracies in our posted prices and for users to seek clarification on how prices are arrived at. You had raised a question earlier about pricing and Steve suggested a course of action which I also recommend. Our editors fully appreciate the feedback! tidester, host
